Hypixel’s founder announced on X (formerly Twitter) that pre-purchases have fully funded the game’s development for the next two years. He also committed to supporting the game for the next decade, which should reassure fans about its future. The development team has also grown to over 50 people.
Hytale has faced a lot of challenges throughout its development. After Riot Games shut it down, Hypixel Studios stepped in to revive it. Now, the game is more popular than ever, and its upcoming early access release will be crucial in determining its future as a unique blend of sandbox creativity and RPG adventure.
