I Spoke With Jyamma Games’ CEO on Enotria’s Xbox Indefinite Delay

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy for Jyamma Games and their predicament with Enotria: The Last Song on Xbox. Delays are never welcome, especially when they stem from communication issues that seem to be on the other side of the table.

This week, we’re likely to see fresh news about Xbox, as the game “Enotria: The Last Song” is experiencing difficulties with its Xbox release, causing a delay in the version’s launch.

Once again, social media was ablaze with various speculations and allegations, including the typical gaming console rivalry nonsense, like claims that the delay of the game was caused by the Xbox Series S.

I recently had a more detailed conversation with Giacomo Greco, CEO of Jyamma Games, regarding delays in releasing their game for Xbox. Essentially, the game’s release has been pushed back because Xbox hasn’t provided clear communication about an issue preventing the developer from creating and submitting the store page for the game. This problem is not related to the hardware constraints of the Xbox Series S. According to Greco, the Series S functions well, and adjustments made to the graphic settings are minor tweaks rather than significant hardware issues.

Greco explains that for months now, the company has been unable to establish a store page due to an ongoing problem, and they’ve been in touch with different Xbox support teams and individuals. Regrettably, none of them have managed to resolve the issue, acknowledging it stems from their [Xbox’s] side. Ultimately, Jyamma Games’ pleas for assistance went unheeded, forcing them to delay the Xbox version’s release.

Time will tell if Xbox manages to address this problem swiftly enough for Enotria to launch imminently. However, Greco assures us that they are committed to making the release on Xbox happen as quickly as possible.

Currently, Jyamma Games finds itself without solutions and experiencing a substantial financial gap due to investments made towards the development of an Xbox version.
