The comic book series “Ichi the Witch” was penned by Osamu Nishi and beautifully illustrated by Shiro Usazaki. This manga made its first appearance in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2024. Prior to working on Ichi the Witch, Shiro Usazaki contributed to Act-Age, but the series was terminated due to the writer’s arrest. Nevertheless, Shiro Usazaki’s captivating illustrations have significantly boosted the popularity of Ichi the Witch among readers. While official sales figures haven’t been released yet, it’s predicted that they will surpass 10,000 copies.
Previously mentioned, Ichi the Witch gained endorsement from both Fujimoto and Horikoshi Kohei. Notably, Fujimoto is renowned as the writer of Chainsaw Man, a highly acclaimed work that consistently draws massive readership. Intriguingly, Chainsaw Man holds the record for the most-read chapter on Manga Plus. As for Horikoshi Kohei, he concluded My Hero Academia in August 2024.
