New The Finals Skin References Iconic Olympic Meme
As the countdown to Season 6 launch reaches its final hour, Embark Studios has unveiled the initial trailer for The Finals’ new Battle Pass, sparking excitement among fans. A close look at the trailer reveals that a much-anticipated skin is joining the game, and it appears to pay tribute to Kim Ye-ji, the viral Olympic shooter who gained massive popularity during the 2024 Paris Olympics for her composed attitude and chic style in her unique shooting glasses. Ever since Kim Ye-ji took the internet by storm, fans of The Finals have been eagerly awaiting an in-game skin inspired by her, and it seems their pleas have finally been acknowledged.
The complete details of the Battle Pass are still under wraps, leaving us in suspense about which class the eagerly awaited skin belongs to. However, since the character is wielding a revolver in the latest trailer, it’s reasonable to speculate that it will be for the Medium class in The Finals. The creators at Embark Studios have hinted that the Battle Pass is influenced by the golden age of sports entertainment, offering rewards designed to transform players from obscure competitors into legendary champions. In total, there are 106 rewards and 1,575 Multibucks on offer for those who buy the Premium Battle Pass, while the free Battle Pass will feature 26 rewards (including outfits) that can be unlocked by players.
Alongside unveiling the latest Battle Pass, Embark Studios has recently teased three new weapons joining The Finals in Season 6. The swift ARN-220 assault rifle, suitable for Light class players, boasts rapid reload speeds and a controlled recoil pattern. Meanwhile, the CB-01 Repeater, a powerful lever-action rifle exclusive to Medium class players, is another weapon to look forward to. Lastly, heavy gunners will enjoy the M134 Minigun, which delivers immense firepower in the Heavy class, featuring an astounding rate of fire and a vast ammo supply. However, be warned that this formidable weapon comes with a significant movement penalty.
