Iconic Pokemon Go Pseudo Legendary finally comes to Raids & it’s soloable

As a dedicated Pokemon Go trainer with years of experience under my belt, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the latest addition to 3-Star Raids – Garchomp! This powerful Pseudo Legendary has long been a fan favorite in the Pokemon community, but until now, we’ve never had the chance to catch it in its base form through Raids.

A highly sought-after and widely beloved pseudo-legendary Pokemon from the main series games has been added to Pokemon Go raids, and its 3-star difficulty level allows for a lone trainer to successfully defeat it.

An intriguing Raid Boss to note is none besides the beloved Garchomp, a Dragon/Ground type Pokemon. Unlike other Pseudo Legendaries such as Dragonite, Tyranitar, and Salamence who have previously graced Raids, Garchomp has yet to make an appearance in its fundamental form.

Players swiftly rushed to Gyms without delay to engage in battles against this formidable foe. For instance, a Redditor named ‘state-of-dreaming’ shared their experience of encountering Garchomp in 3-Star Raids unexpectedly on Reddit.

PSA: Garchomp will be in T3 raids starting Tuesday, 11 am in your local timezones.

Due to being particularly vulnerable to two Ice-type attacks, this foe can be defeated with relative ease, according to several players’ experiences.

A fan noted that at T3 (Trainer Battle Three), it’s feasible for a single trainer to defeat Garchomp using a combination of effective Ice-type Pokemon, as well as Dragons and Fairies. Others have suggested accessible options such as Mamoswine, Galarian Darmanitan, Glaceon, and Weavile for this task.

Furthermore, several users pointed out that it’s not necessary for these counters to reach maximum capacity or be heavily boosted in order to successfully solo with them. In fact, they mentioned that even with just half of them reaching level 30, individuals were still able to accomplish this feat.

As a long-time Pokémon trainer and avid player of the game, I can tell you that the upcoming Mega Evolution debuting on July 27, 2024, has really got me excited! And let me tell you, the news that the Mega being made available in the game comes with an increased shiny chance of 1 in 128 instead of the usual full odds of 1 in 512 is just the cherry on top.

Based on my own experience as a dedicated Pokémon Trainer, I strongly advise you to prepare a team of six powerful Pokémons before encountering Mega Lucario. From my gaming journey, I’ve found that having a solid squad in place is essential for facing off against this formidable foe. And trust me, Garchomp is an excellent choice for your roster. Its dynamic moveset and impressive stats make it a reliable companion in battle. So, heed my words and plan ahead!

As a long-time Pokemon Go trainer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t stress enough how exciting it is that Garchomp will be featured in Raids until July 25. The thrill of battling and finally catching this powerful Dragon/Ground type Pokemon is an opportunity not to be missed. And if you manage to catch one with perfect IVs during this time, consider yourself truly fortunate!
