Bricker Builds Has LEGO Pokemon Builds But They’re Pricey!
It can be hard to find certain LEGO sets, particularly during the holidays, but there are other options. Bricker Builds creates custom LEGO models, and they’ve designed their own versions of popular Pokémon. These aren’t inexpensive, though, with prices ranging from $29.99 to over $1,000. The high cost is due to their size – many are life-size, like the 2-foot-tall Charmander, while others, such as Bulbasaur and Togepi, are around a foot tall.
Bricker Build sets are made with LEGO pieces, but they aren’t official LEGO products and aren’t endorsed by Nintendo or The Pokémon Company. Because of this, the sets avoid using official Pokémon names or creature titles. Instead, they’re sold under the theme “Pocket Monster” and feature descriptive names – for example, Piplup is called “Proud Penguin,” Charizard is “Fire Dragon,” and Entei is “Flame Hound.” You can even find a set inspired by the Squirtle Squad from the Pokémon anime, complete with the V-Fin glasses for Pokémon like Eevee, Pikachu, and other starter Pokémon.
