How to Find the Immortal Boneface in Borderlands 4
The Old Scrape Walkthrough
You can find the Immortal Boneface in “The Old Scrape”, a Ripper Drill Site located within Cuspid Climb in the Terminus Range region of Kairos. The Old Scrape is situated in the southern part of Cuspid Climb, right where it connects to the Fadefields. Once you arrive, you’ll need to cross the drawbridge formed by the bones of a massive skeletal creature and head towards the back to reach the boss arena. To start the fight with the Immortal Boneface, you must eliminate the nearby Rippers to trigger its appearance, but be careful – this boss isn’t alone and comes with an ally.
How to Beat Immortal Boneface (& Legendary Drops) in Borderlands 4
All Loot Drops from the Meathead Riders
Legendary | Type | Special Effect |
---|---|---|
Hellwalker | Shotgun | Soothslayer. |
Lucian’s Flank | Assault Rifle | Trample – Critical Hits refill up to 2 Ammo to the Gun’s Magazine. |
War Paint | Repkit | Chrome – On use, grants +30% Fire Rate and +30% Movement Speed for 15s, and reduces Repkit Cooldown by 2s each time Damage is taken. |
All of the loot dropped by the Immortal Boneface is worth collecting, but the War Paint Repkit is especially valuable. The War Paint increases your Fire Rate and Movement Speed, and also shortens the Repkit Cooldown with each use. These effects can really add up, making builds that focus on Fire Rate capable of defeating bosses with a single shot. The Hellwalker Shotgun is another strong item – it deals a lot of damage and is a cool nod to DOOM. Finally, there’s Lucian’s Flank, an Assault Rifle that restores 2 Ammo to your magazine for every Critical Hit. This effectively gives players who land Critical Hits an infinite supply of ammo for that weapon.
To defeat the Immortal Boneface, you’ll first need to eliminate Saddleback, who is concealing the path to the final boss. Saddleback is a powerful Meathead with two health bars. His initial health bar is Armor, making Corrosive and Cryo weapons effective. Once that’s depleted, his second health bar, Flesh, is vulnerable to Incendiary damage. After defeating Saddleback, the Immortal Boneface becomes less formidable. His first health bar is Shield, so use Shock weapons. His second health bar is also Flesh, meaning Incendiary will again be your best choice to finally bring him down.
