Level-5 has officially unveiled the launch date for “Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road”, set to drop on August 21 for both PC and consoles. The popular RPG series of “Inazuma Eleven” gained massive popularity following the release of its Nintendo DS game in Japan back in 2008, and it eventually made its way to the West in 2014. Since then, various other games have been introduced, with “Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road” being the upcoming title in the series.

Inazuma Eleven” is an animated series that combines soccer with elements found in shows like “Dragon Ball Z“, offering an unusual take on sports anime. It follows the adventures of young goalkeeper, Mamoru Endo, as he gathers players for his Jr. High school team, Raimon, facing progressively challenging opponents throughout his journey. Besides Endo, characters like Shuuja Gouenji and Yuuto Kidou have also gained popularity. After a prolonged hiatus from the gaming scene, “Inazuma Eleven” has made its return.

Level-5 has unveiled a fresh promotional video for the upcoming game, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, setting its launch date for August 21st. The video offers glimpses into the game’s universe, featuring the new lead character engaging with other characters, soccer match scenarios, and challenges like maneuvering a ball through tires. Additionally, the trailer hints at a skill development system reminiscent of a tree, as well as the iconic flashy moves synonymous with the series. Level-5 has also confirmed that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will be playable on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series consoles, in addition to previously announced versions for PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

25 years after the original Inazuma Eleven, Victory Road takes us to a new tale starring Destin Billows, a pupil at South Circus Junior High. Upon encountering Harper Evans, the shining star of Raimon Junior High’s soccer team, they embark on an exciting journey together. Level-5’s game will also include Chronicle Mode, boasting over 5,200 characters from past installments in the series, along with anime scenes crafted by the renowned MAPPA studio.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is set to launch in both standard and Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition offers additional perks like the Fei Rune item and Victory Jump goal celebration. If you grab the Deluxe version for PlayStation 4, 5, and Xbox Series consoles, you’ll get early access to the game, starting August 19. Pre-ordering the title will net you the Advanced Booster Bundle, with XP gain boosters and stat enhancers for control, technique, and agility.
