Rumors that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would arrive on PlayStation 5 have been circulating for a while. It came as a shock to many when developers confirmed a PS5 port during Gamescom’s opening night live event yesterday. According to the official announcement, the new first-person adventure is set to launch on the PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025.

Beyond that, MachineGames shared fresh details about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at Gamescom last night. Players can look forward to a variety of puzzles, such as deciphering mysteriously locked chambers, figuring out complex ancient mechanisms, and mastering ritualistic sequences of challenges. Unlike conventional skill trees, players will need to discover ‘Skill Books’ scattered around the world in order to acquire new abilities.

Information emerged about Indiana Jones’s journey in The Great Circle, detailing its linear storyline and narrative segments interspersed with opportunities for player exploration. New items for Indy were unveiled as well, such as his iconic Whip, along with a Camera, Journal, Lighter, and assorted tools (referred to as “The Rest”) that can be discovered throughout the game world.
