The spooky season of “Infinity Nikki” offers more than just the intriguing enigma of Queen Philomia; it also introduces an array of thrilling activities and missions for gamers to engage in. Some of these missions may even yield lucrative rewards, which can be utilized towards pursuits such as the Lingering Finale Resonance Banner.
One hidden mission in Infinity Nikki that might easily go unnoticed, similar to Philomia’s spirits, is called The Whispering Bench. To finish this quest, you’ll actually have to engage with some of these ghostly entities yourself.
How to Unlock The Whispering Bench Quest in Infinity Nikki
To engage with this new quest within the “Eerie Season” of Infinity Nikki, there’s a prerequisite you need to fulfill first. Start by finishing the “Photo Investigation: Midnight Stories” quest, which is found under the ‘Eerie Encounters’ category in the ‘Tales of Mystery’ tab within the Events menu.
Luckily, this short journey requires you to visit the Heartcraft Kingdom Outpost located at the very end of Breezy Meadow, right behind the Queen’s Palace Ruins. You can easily reach it using the nearby Warp Spire.
How to Complete The Whispering Bench Quest in Infinity Nikki
In your Events section, you’ll discover the “Tales of Mystery” event from the Eerie Season, which includes the “The Whispering Bench” quest. To find this particular quest, choose the ‘Eerie Encounters’ category within the Events tab and scroll down the list until you reach the final option named “The Whispering Bench”.
Remember, before you can take on this new quest, make sure you’ve finished the two preceding ones – ‘Mystery of the Strange Hissing Streetlamp’ and ‘Photographic Inquiry: Tales under the Moonlight’. Once those are done, you’re ready for the next adventure!
Following the Photo Investigation titled “Midnight Stories” with Divinso at the Heartcraft Kingdom Outpost, he will share a rumor about the benches encircling the violin statue located at the castle entrance. This rumor triggers The Whispering Bench quest. You can locate its starting point on your map through the ‘Eerie Encounters’ menu (as shown above).
Make your way to the Queen’s Palace Ruins Entrance Warp Spire and walk along the main path until you come across a grand statue of a violin pulsating with an unusual energy. Remember to return here at night (between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM), which you can quickly reach using your ‘Run, Pear-Pal’ feature.
When the right moment arrives, find one of the stone benches close to the statue and wait there to initiate a cutscene. The Ghost Sentinel will then show up again, eventually informing Nikki that it needs a Celebcrow Feather for Sir Percy’s festivities. If you happen to possess any feathers already, you can straightaway provide one to the Ghost Sentinel. In case you don’t have any, you’ll need to locate one from a Celebcrow – a bird with a crow-like form whose feathers resemble a tuxedo.
Quite serendipitously, there are at least two Celebcrows situated quite close to the statue. It’s possible that you might have driven them away unknowingly during the earlier stages of your quest, given their easily startled nature as birds. Take a brief break from the area and the Celebcrows should reappear. Once they’re back, put on your outfit with the grooming ability and approach them cautiously. You only need to groom one Celebcor for the feather you require.
Once I’ve completed this task, I’ll present the feather to the Ghost Sentinel. Following a brief chat, our interaction will draw to a close, and I’ll be rewarded for my diligence with these valuable items.
