Summary
- Infinity Nikki players are frustrated with Mira Crown stars locked behind limited 5-Star outfits.
- Completing the Mira Crown challenges requires engaging with the gacha system for specific items.
- Players want endgame rewards like the Mira Crown to be less dependent on gacha Outfits in Infinity Nikki.
Players of Infinity Nikki have expressed growing irritation over the pattern where Mira Crown stars are confined behind exclusive 5-Star outfits. Although Infinity Nikki is primarily about exploring an open world, it is also a game that follows gacha mechanics. Some challenges necessitate clothing that can only be acquired through Limited Banners, and accumulating a complete set can be quite costly in Diamonds – the premium currency used in Infinity Nikki.
Similar to how the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact operates, Infinity Nikki features the Mira Crown. This crown resets twice per game version, with the current cycle running until February 25, 2025. Players of Infinity Nikki are encouraged to collect all 24 stars by completing its eight stylist challenges flawlessly, as this grants them the highest amount of Sparklite and Diamonds. However, achieving this goal without using the game’s gacha system is extremely challenging, if not impossible. Unlike other challenges in Infinity Nikki, the Mira Crown has a time limit, which has led to heated discussions among the community.
In one discussion on the subreddit for the game ‘Infinity Nikki’, it was determined that the ongoing cycle of the Mira Crown cannot be finished without certain items from the Limited Banners within ‘Infinity Nikki’. Specifically, to achieve a perfect score in Round 8 of the Mira Crown contest, players need more than four Fresh and Fantasy pieces. However, only two items in the entire game possess this unique combination of tags. Since these essential items are found exclusively on the current Whimsical Reverie banner, ‘Infinity Nikki’ players aiming to complete the Mira Crown during this cycle will have to draw from this banner, as it offers the sought-after 5-Star Gliding Outfit.
Infinity Nikki Players Want Changes to the Mira Crown
In past iterations of the game, the Mira Crown challenges followed a pattern similar to previous versions. This has left players of Infinity Nikki concerned that future updates will continue to restrict endgame rewards through the currently highlighted banners. While the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact does lean towards characters featured on its banners, it’s still possible for players to complete it with less favorable teams. This has sparked a desire within the Infinity Nikki community for the developers to implement a similar system for endgame rewards, making the Mira Crown less reliant on gacha outfits in Infinity Nikki.
As a devoted enthusiast of Infinity Nikki, I’ve been consistently impressed by Infold’s commitment to player feedback, as evidenced by the multitude of quality-of-life improvements they’ve integrated into the game. However, I can’t help but wonder if this generosity will persist in upcoming updates. The anticipated launch of Version 1.3 is scheduled for February 26, 2024.
