The game “Infinity Nikki” has unveiled details about Version 1.7, which promises a fresh dungeon, three novel outfits, and a more intricate Wishfield narrative with a darker twist. After its triumphant debut in December 2024, “Infinity Nikki” faced a significant hurdle with the troublesome release of Version 1.5. In an effort to placate players, Infold offered a series of apologies, but many gamers chose to boycott “Infinity Nikki” until the problems were rectified.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the release of Infold’s Version 1.6 was postponed by a week. Although this update did not stir up any debates, it unfortunately did not address the main concerns that were present in Version 1.5, except for improving performance and stability. This version introduced new outfits for Infinity Nikki and a maze mini-game, but primarily served to temporarily alleviate issues while Infold continued working on a comprehensive solution.
The upcoming update for Infinity Nikki, labeled Blue Tears Season 1.7, appears to be delving into a more complex narrative as players will be investigating the death of the Wishing One. A new Limited Banner is set to appear in this version, showcasing a 5-Star serpent-themed outfit and a 4-Star moth-themed outfit. The Blooming Dreams event will make a comeback during the second half of the update. For gameplay, players can venture into the Serpentine Ruins, a story dungeon that could transform into a new Realm of Eureka in Version 1.8.
Infinity Nikki: Blue Tears Season Dives Deep Into Wishfield’s Distant Past
It’s crucial to remember that Update 1.7 won’t alter the dye system within Infinity Nikki, nor does it suggest a return to the game’s initial prologue. These points have been major concerns leading to the Infinity Nikki boycott, and it might take some time before the developers tackle them, if they do so at all. However, Update 1.7 aims to enhance human characters and mature storytelling within the game. This will mark a first since Update 1.2, as quests in Wishfield will now focus on its human inhabitants.
In the upcoming Version 1.7 of “Infinity Nikki”, players can expect a host of quality-of-life enhancements. For instance, you’ll be able to snap photos with Momo in the game’s Photo Mode and expand your Color Lookbook system. Although Version 1.8 won’t introduce any new maps, it will finally bring the anticipated housing system. Meanwhile, Infold is diligently working on a large, innovative region for Version 2.0. The release date for these updates is set for July 7, 2025.
