InZOI Player Creates3D Printed Cat in Game, Amazes Community

Summary

  • InZOI player brings their own cat into the game using the 3D printing feature.
  • Gamers are impressed by the feature even though it renders animals as solid objects.
  • InZOI’s unique features, like face motion capture, set it apart from The Sims 4 in the life sim genre.

A user of InZOI has revealed that they incorporated their real-life cat into the game by utilizing its 3D printing function. This extraordinary talent is something that most InZOI players haven’t encountered before, introducing a fresh dimension to the life simulation genre.

For some time now, the game known as InZOI has been under development, and before its official release, there were chances for players to test it out prematurely. Apart from the initial character builder demo, InZOI made the Creative Studio available early for users through a Twitch drop campaign.

One Reddit user known as Twenty-One-Asteroids found a unique way to incorporate their real-life feline in the game InZOI. Though cats have been featured in promotional content since the game’s unveiling, this specific cat is slightly less animated. Since the 3D printing feature of InZOI cannot create NPCs, the cat has been transformed into a solid object that players can place at their discretion. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the 3D printing process accurately captured the cat’s likeness within the game, but due to its rendering, it resembles a pillow with a cat-printed image on it.

InZoi Fans are Enthusiastic About New Print Feature

As a dedicated fan, I must admit that while the print feature isn’t flawless, it’s mind-blowing capabilities from a single photo has left me in awe. When Twenty-One-Asteroids shared a post of his cat in the game, gamers couldn’t help but laugh and feel charmed by its resemblance. In fact, one fan even tried to print their own cat! Although I suspect the game might excel more in printing solid objects rather than animals, the joy of seeing our beloved pets within the game is more than enough for many players. It’s features like these, such as the innovative face motion capture system in InZOI, that allow us to map our own facial expressions onto our Zoi, that truly sets this game apart and has fans excited!

As InZOI is on the verge of its launch, it remains to be seen if this new game can truly challenge The Sims 4, a life simulation giant that EA has held sway over for many years. Although The Sims 4 continues to have a dedicated fanbase, there’s a growing curiosity about how another developer might approach a similar concept. It’s possible that InZOI may not win over every fan of The Sims, but it could certainly draw in players who prefer the visual aesthetic of InZOI and the additional features it offers.
