A skillful player of InZOI, operating online, has fashioned the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2, Arthur Morgan, in the recently launched Early Access life simulator. Players have swiftly adapted to the potent character creation tools that InZOI offers.
In just a few short days since its release from Early Access, I’ve found myself utterly captivated by the intriguing world of InZOI. On its very first day, InZOI managed to surpass The Sims 4’s all-time concurrent player count on Steam – quite an impressive feat! As it continues to challenge EA’s beloved franchise for supremacy in the life simulator genre, I can’t help but be optimistic about its potential. Time will tell if InZOI can maintain this level of success, but so far, things are looking very promising indeed for this captivating game.
Reddit user JustReza09 showcased their character creation in InZOI, remarkably similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s protagonist, Arthur Morgan. The resemblance is striking, mirroring the game character’s appearance almost perfectly. Some noticed that the hair wasn’t an exact match, but JustReza09 defended it, saying that any other hairstyle makes him look “afflicted.” They also uploaded their version of Arthur to InZOI’s Canvas system, allowing other players to download and use this creation.
InZOI’s Fan-Made Version of Arthur Morgan is Uncanny
Before the official launch of InZOI, they made available for free their robust character creation tools. This move enabled players to create their characters early, gaining an edge before the game’s release. Already, we’ve seen a wealth of impressive creations, with many opting to replicate their favorite characters from other series. One InZOI player even recreated Shadowheart from Baldur’s Gate 3 within the game, and it’s likely that we’ll see numerous custom characters modeled after popular characters in the coming weeks and months.
As an ardent fan, I must admit that the character creation aspect of InZOI is simply outstanding. However, some fellow enthusiasts have mentioned that the depth of gameplay seems a bit shallow at this stage. Fortunately, InZOI’s post-launch plans are addressing these concerns, promising to incorporate features typical of life simulators in the near future. Remember, it’s currently in Early Access, so its long-term impact on the life simulator genre can only be truly assessed once it has more gameplay content. Until then, I find immense joy in exploring the unique characters that players are crafting.
