Tech YouTuber Jon Prosser has shared early images of what the upcoming iPhone Fold might look like. Expected to launch next year, the iPhone Fold is rumored to unfold horizontally, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold phones, creating a larger screen. When closed, it’s predicted to have a 5.5-inch display, expanding to 7.8 inches when unfolded. A key feature Apple is reportedly working on is eliminating the visible crease on the folding screen – a common issue with other foldable phones. Prosser suggests the iPhone Fold could be released in 2026, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro.
In his latest video, Prosser dives into the details of Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone. He says the phone will likely have a front-facing camera – a small “hole punch” – located in the upper-left corner of the folding screen, just like many other foldable phones. Prosser also explains Apple’s plans to minimize the visible crease in the screen, reportedly using a combination of a pressure-distributing metal plate and a special liquid metal material.
