Xbox Game Pass is regularly adding new games, but with the service now costing more, many players are wondering if a highly anticipated title like Code Vein 2 will be added to justify the price increase. If not, there’s speculation about whether it will ever be available on Game Pass.
Fans of challenging action games like those in the ‘Souls’ series should be excited about Code Vein 2. 2025 offered great titles in the genre like Nightreign, The First Berserker: Khazan, and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Now, Code Vein 2 is the first major ‘Souls-like’ game of 2026, and its availability on Game Pass would make it an even better deal.
Can You Play Code Vein 2 On Xbox Game Pass?
Code Vein 2 won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass when it releases, so players will need to purchase the game to play it.
Xbox Game Pass is great because your subscription gives you access to a huge library of games. However, the selection isn’t always very diverse. Plus, even with the more expensive Game Pass Ultimate, you’re not guaranteed to get every new game on release day – it depends on deals Microsoft makes with different game companies.
Checking the Xbox store reveals that Code Vein 2 isn’t currently listed as being available with Xbox Game Pass. There’s no indication of Game Pass support on its store page or in any trailers, and neither Bandai Namco nor Microsoft have announced it will be added. Therefore, it’s likely Code Vein 2 won’t be included with Xbox Game Pass anytime soon.
Will Code Vein 2 Ever Come To Xbox Game Pass?
It’s surprising to hear this, considering the first Code Vein game hasn’t yet been available on Xbox Game Pass.
Sequels are helpful because they often remind us of what happened in earlier games, and whether those games were available on Xbox Game Pass. The first Code Vein wasn’t on Game Pass, and we’ll correct this if we find out differently, which makes it unlikely that a sequel would be added to the service.
A sequel to Code Vein is still a possibility, and it could potentially come to Game Pass down the line. We’ll share more information as it becomes available.
