Known for creating the PS5 horror game Quantum Error, TeamKill refers to Code Violet as a “successor in spirit” to Dino Crisis. The trailer offers a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of 2000s horror games, with its atmosphere and visual style. The game revolves around protagonist Violet Sinclair’s struggle for survival within a future facility invaded by dinosaurs. Players will encounter velociraptors and even a T-Rex, as demonstrated in an exhilarating chase sequence where the player is attempting to flee in a jeep. In keeping with traditional survival horror gameplay, players may choose to engage the dinosaurs directly or opt for evasion and hiding strategies.

The trailer for “Code Violet” doesn’t delve deep into the gameplay, but it does hint at an over-the-shoulder camera style similar to “Resident Evil 4”.
