As someone who’s spent countless hours getting my soul crushed and then triumphantly rising again in the Soulslike realm, I can confidently say that Enotria: The Last Song is a perfect fit for this genre. It’s like a familiar face in a crowd of strangers, with hints of Bloodborne and Sekiro’s DNA running through its veins.
In this era, we’re swamped with games similar to Elden Ring, Black Myth: Wukong, and Lies of P, collectively known as Soulslike titles. Some players are finding it overwhelming. Fortunately, there’s no shortage of games to play. For fans of the genre, there’s more on the horizon. However, is Enotria: The Last Song a Soulslike game?
Is Enotria Soulslike?
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but notice that when it comes to games like Enotri: The Last Song, the term “Soulslike” is a perfect fit. It’s as if this game was designed to embody the essence of games such as Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. In other words, if you love the challenge and intrigue found in these Souls series titles, then Enotri is right up your alley, offering a similar, captivating gaming experience.
To clarify, the game developer, Jyamma Games, plans to design an engaging yet accessible gaming experience that draws inspiration from games by From Software. However, they aim to streamline some of the more intricate mechanisms from these titles, making them easier for a typical gamer to grasp.
The main difference in the new formula lies in the flexibility to seamlessly blend play styles and construction options as needed. This means you won’t be limited to one specific build or forced to start over just to experiment with something fresh. Instead, you can quickly switch between three pre-set loadouts during gameplay, enabling you to tackle obstacles in multiple ways.

How Hard is Enotria?
To put it simply, Soulslike games aren’t my forte, but I’m quite fond of them nonetheless. These types of bosses sometimes leave me stumped for an hour or more before I eventually conquer them. However, that doesn’t deter me from playing every new installment that hits the market, and I won’t let it stop me from enjoying Enotria: The Last Song when it launches.
Having had a hands-on session with Enotria not too long ago, I can confidently say that it felt like a welcoming and approachable Soulslike game. Despite the numerous challenging encounters, I was able to make my way through the demo areas fairly smoothly. If you’ve dabbled in Elden Ring, Sekiro, or more recently, Black Myth: Wukong, then you’ll likely find Enotria an intriguing and rewarding endeavor!
In certain games, such as Black Myth: Wukong, you can increase your character’s power level more quickly, for instance, when progressing rapidly before encountering the Wandering Wight. Mayhap, in Enotria, there might be an opportunity to experience something akin to this speedy advancement, appealing to those who relish the challenge!
