The upcoming game High on Life 2 is a raunchy shooter, and players are already wondering if it will be included with Xbox Game Pass.
Squanch Games’ new action-adventure shooter is coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on February 13th. A version for the Nintendo Switch 2 is planned for release at a later date.
For Xbox gamers wondering if High on Life 2 is part of their Game Pass benefits, TopMob has the information you need.
Is High on Life 2 on Xbox Game Pass?

High on Life 2 will be available to play on February 13th for anyone with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
This launch strategy is similar to what was done with the first game, and it’s good news for Game Pass subscribers, as they won’t need to buy High on Life 2 separately.
Whether or not you can play High on Life 2 with Game Pass depends on your subscription level, due to recent changes to the service.
What Game Pass Subscription Tier is Needed For High on Life 2?
To play High on Life 2 on Xbox Series X|S or PC, you’ll need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription instead of buying the game on its own.
Starting in 2025, if you want to play new Xbox games the moment they come out through Game Pass, you’ll need the Ultimate subscription. While Game Pass Premium does offer a selection of games, they become available about a year after their initial release.
If you want to play High on Life 2 right when it comes out, you’ll need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The basic PC Game Pass and Game Pass Essentials plans don’t include it.
What Edition of High on Life 2 is Included With Xbox Game Pass?
With an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you’ll get the standard version of High on Life 2, and it doesn’t come with any extra perks or bonuses.
If you pre-order High on Life 2, you’ll receive a special in-game hat for your weapons that says ‘I PRE-ORDERED HIGH ON LIFE 2’. While the hat doesn’t offer any gameplay advantages, the developers at Squanch Games jokingly state that it will never be available to players who don’t pre-order.
This feature is just for looks, so it’s not worth spending extra money on unless you really want it. The standard version, especially with a Game Pass subscription, is perfectly good enough.
