2026 looks like an exciting year for gamers, with many highly anticipated titles on the way. One of the biggest releases is Highguard, although there’s been some uncertainty about where you’ll be able to play it.
Highguard was unveiled at The Game Awards and is scheduled to launch on January 26th. However, many players haven’t heard much about it lately because the developer hasn’t shared many updates.

Is Highguard on PlayStation 5?
Highguard is coming to PlayStation 5! The game, created by the team behind Apex Legends and Titanfall, will be released on all major gaming platforms.
The PlayStation 5 is one of the platforms that will support crossplay, letting you play with friends and other players on different systems.
It’s unclear if the game will be released on PlayStation because there hasn’t been much promotion. Unlike other platforms, pre-orders weren’t offered, and wishlisting was limited to Steam.
Is Highguard on Xbox Series X|S?
Highguard will be available on Xbox Series X|S when it launches, just like PlayStation 5, so players on those consoles can start playing right away.
Just like with the PlayStation release, the lack of publicity surrounding Highguard has left some players wondering which platforms it will be available on. Details have been limited since the first trailer was shown.
The recent trailer briefly showed that Highguard will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, so Xbox console players have nothing to worry about – the game will be available for them.
Is Highguard on PC?
Highguard is coming to PC, and you can currently add it to your wishlist on Steam – it’s the only place to do so before the game launches.
I’ve been keeping an eye on Highguard, and the Steam page has been up since they first showed it off. I already added it to my wishlist so I don’t miss the release date – you should too if you’re interested!
Players on PC will be able to play with people on all other platforms, thanks to the game’s full crossplay feature.
