Boruto: The Two Whirling Vortexes
The series has served fans with an abundance of thrilling material thus far, showcasing intense clashes between the Sage of Six Paths and the emerging shinobi from Konoha. Fan excitement for the narrative has been consistently high due to the numerous intriguing twists and turns. However, there’s one aspect that they continue to eagerly anticipate: the comeback of Naruto Uzumaki.
In the Boruto series, while Naruto Uzumaki may no longer hold the spotlight as the main character, his character remains just as captivating as it was in Naruto. He serves as the heart of the franchise and continues to be the most cherished and admired character across the entire series. Fans eagerly anticipate Naruto’s return, but for now, there’s no guarantee of his safety. In fact, there’s a strong possibility that Naruto Uzumaki could meet his end in the future of Boruto.
Naruto’s Bad Luck in Boruto Has Continued
- Naruto Lost Kurama
- Kawaki Sealed Naruto Uzumaki
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but notice a consistent pattern in the Naruto storyline within the Boruto series โ one that seems to find ways to sideline Naruto, weaken him, and ultimately lead to his defeat in battles. This trend has been evident since the very beginning of the Boruto series, and it’s particularly noticeable during Naruto Uzumaki’s fight against Momoshiki in Konoha where he was weakened. The pattern repeats itself when they fought on Momoshiki’s planet, as Naruto was again weakened. His powers were significantly diminished in the battle against Jigen, and the most heart-wrenching blow came when he lost Kurama forever against Jura. So far, it seems that Naruto Uzumaki has had more than his fair share of bad luck in the storyline, but the greatest hardship seems to have come after the loss of Kurama.
Don’t underestimate us shinobi, you fool! โ Naruto Uzumaki to Momoshiki
It’s common knowledge among fans that Naruto not only lost Kurama but was also imprisoned by Kawaki, a move Kawaki believed was necessary to protect him. While this sealing was done with the best intentions, it still occurred and left Naruto in his current state. To this day, Naruto Uzumaki remains sealed away, and fans eagerly anticipate his return. However, what some may not be aware of is that Kishimoto’s plans for Naruto might not be as favorable as we hope.
Kishimoto Wanted To Kill Off Characters In Boruto
Naruto Could’ve Been Killed In Boruto
Though many Naruto fans anxiously anticipate his comeback, it’s less widely recognized that an alternate version of Boruto might have featured Naruto’s demise. Intriguingly, the creator of Boruto, Ikemoto, has openly discussed this possibility on several occasions. Last year, he shared thoughts about key characters narrowly escaping death.
Sometimes, events deviate from what was initially intended. From the start, minor adjustments are frequently made. However, over time, the narrative tends to take a turn different from Masashi Kishimoto’s blueprint. This can be attributed to several factors, but primarily, I found it necessary to craft a fresh ending for the shonen genre and establish a concept for the seinen segment.
After making that choice, Ada and Demon came into being, while Kashin Koji’s position was redefined. Amado fled to Konoha next, and it seemed Code should have perished much earlier. In truth, a character of great significance managed to survive. Despite the intention to heighten the manga’s intrigue, we find ourselves straying quite far from our initial blueprint. Right now, I’m grappling with the task of shaping the narrative myself. I believe that the primary hurdle in creating Boruto, even for Kishimoto-sensei who supports me, is dealing with a series of unexpected alterations along the way.
Naruto Uzumaki’s Future Doesn’t Look Too Bright
In the “Boruto” series, it’s crucial not to overlook the fact that Naruto Uzumaki was possibly marked for death. Moreover, it’s equally important to remember that new generations will rise and take center stage in the “Boruto” series as time goes on.
Come, Otsutsuki! I’ll show you what true resolve means. โ Naruto Uzumaki
If Naruto comes back and continues as Hokage, it might be challenging for characters like Sarada to achieve their dreams, because the author doesn’t seem to find a balance between preserving Naruto’s legacy and promoting the new generation. It appears that Naruto Uzumaki will continue to live under the weight of his past accomplishments for some time.
In two years from now, on June 20, 2025, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 23 will make its debut! The release time is scheduled for 10 AM Eastern Standard Time or 3 PM Coordinated Universal Time. Just like before, enthusiasts can access this chapter for free, without any charges, on the Manga Plus and Shonen Jump mobile apps.
