The sequel, titled “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth“, significantly surpasses its predecessor, a game already worthy in its own right. Unlike many of the criticisms leveled at “Final Fantasy 7 Remake“, Rebirth doesn’t aim to address them directly. Instead, it amplifies and reinforces nearly all of the original’s strong points, resulting in a vibrant, bold, and indelible gaming adventure.
In the style of sequel design, we find a standout character like Chadley, an android who can be either adored or disliked, based on individual opinions. This character may have some grating qualities, such as talking too much, but he plays a crucial role in motivating completionists. In Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Chadley’s field research promotes exploration and combat experimentation, with his numerous combat trials acting as endgame objectives and challenges, offering rewards for mastery. This dynamic is consistent with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, although the new open-world format gives Chadley more opportunities to assign tasks, making him a vital part of overworld exploration. However, by part three of this remake trilogy, it’s hoped that Chadley will be even more intriguing.
In the authentic “Final Fantasy 7”, Chadley isn’t present as a character. This fact contributes to him being met with disapproval among fans, yet it also grants Square Enix greater flexibility in how they develop and introduce him.
Chadley Needs a Major Elevation in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3
Chadley Shouldn’t Be the Same As In FF7 Remake, Rebirth
Despite some players being undecided about Chadley, it seems clear that he will continue as a fixture within the game. Not only is he one of the major new characters in the remake’s storyline, but his crucial part in endgame content and progression makes it highly likely that we’ll see him again in future installments. In order to keep things interesting, perhaps the series could expand, twist, or otherwise revamp how Chadley is incorporated moving forward.
In essence, it’s not suggesting that Chadley will suddenly take on a pivotal role in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake storyline. However, it would certainly add depth to see him in a new light, with higher stakes maybe enriching his typically bland and dull conversations. Or, a fresh spin on his habitually repetitive tasks could make them more appealing for casual gamers. The upcoming Final Fantasy 7 game is intended to be the culmination of this modern reinterpretation of the 1997 original, so if Chadley is included, he should offer something intriguing. Given that the rest of the game promises an all-out, unbridled experience, it seems reasonable to expect the same for Chadley’s segments.
How Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Can Kick Chadley Up a Notch
There are numerous possibilities to enhance Chadley’s role in the sequel of ‘Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth,’ but it’s crucial to honor his brief impact on the storyline. Despite being somewhat bothersome, Chadley is still a significant character in the FF7 remake series, and his appearance in the following game should reflect this importance. Possible ways to do this could include a climactic conclusion to his story arc, featuring a challenging and unforgettable boss fight. Alternatively, his status as a Shinra robot could be further explored, leading to a surprising and impactful plot twist.
It remains uncertain if Square Enix will stick with the grueling late-game quests from the original Final Fantasy 7, especially given the positive reception of the scale in the upcoming FF7 Rebirth. The quests involving Chadley are known for their time-consuming nature, and it seems likely that they may reappear. However, introducing some surprising, dramatic twists within this questline could help to define Chadley’s character more clearly, potentially even altering public perception of him in a positive way.
