YouTube personality Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins is heading back to Twitch for the first time in four years, starting July 7. This return follows his ban from the platform late in 2021 due to allegations of sexual intimidation during a stream hosted by Adin Ross.
After being banned from Twitch, IShowSpeed has mainly been live-streaming on YouTube, boasting over 41.4 million subscribers at present. He is recognized for his lively broadcasts which encompass games such as Fortnite and Red Dead Redemption 2, in addition to real-life streams from diverse locations worldwide. Nevertheless, IShowSpeed’s fame has occasionally invited unwelcome attention, as evidenced by an incident on May 5 where he was swatted during a live stream at a KFC restaurant. Fortunately, neither IShowSpeed nor his numerous viewers were harmed in this KFC swatting incident, bringing much relief to all involved.
Despite not streaming on Twitch since his unbanning in 2023, IShowSpeed has confirmed that he will resume broadcasting from his Europe Tour starting July 7 at 7:00 AM Eastern, with both YouTube and Twitch carrying the simulcast. The tour will take him through various European countries like France, Finland, Croatia, and Greece. Although the length of the tour is unknown, this will mark IShowSpeed’s return to Twitch since May 2021, following a two-year ban imposed in late 2021 for alleged sexual intimidation during a broadcast he participated in, hosted by Adin Ross. However, his ban was lifted in October 2023.
IShowSpeed Will Stream His Second European Tour On Twitch And YouTube
IShowSpeed’s European tour kicked off approximately four months after his widely-viewed tour through China, where he broadcasted for more than 35 hours over seven streams. IShowSpeed embarked on his first European tour in June and July of 2024, attracting over 2.5 billion views across various platforms such as YouTube. With numerous countries scheduled for his upcoming European tour, it remains to be seen if it will equal the length of that one.

With each new broadcast, IShowSpeed is breaking viewer records worldwide, indicating that he’s far from taking a break. We’ll just have to wait and see how many more viewers he manages to attract when he returns to Twitch.
