It Will Take 100 Hours To Fully Complete Stalker 2

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I have seen countless delays and cancellations of anticipated titles. Yet, Stalker 2 stands out as one that has left me both anxious and hopeful. The recent announcement of its delay to November may have disappointed some, but as someone who’s been through the rollercoaster of gaming releases, I can tell you that patience is often rewarded in this industry.

1. The developer, GSC Game World, recently postponed the release date for Stalker 2 from its initial schedule to November, causing some gamers to express disappointment. This isn’t the first time the game has been delayed, but here’s hoping it will be the last. During Gamescom, the team behind Stalker 2 provided a live demonstration of the game where participants could experience a 20-minute preview of the intense survival-shooter title.

At the gathering in Cologne, representatives from GSC Game World disclosed details about the game’s scope, emphasizing that players should anticipate spending approximately 100 hours to completely finish Stalker 2.

All By Hand

In an interview with GamesRadar, Yevnhenii Kulyk from GSC shared some insights about Stalker 2. He emphasized that the game is vast, and a typical player might require approximately 100 hours to fully experience it. During his discussion of the game’s complexity, he highlighted that the team relied very little on procedural generation to construct the extensive in-game map. This map encompasses regions within and surrounding Chornobyl and Pripyat, collectively known as ‘The Zone’.

According to the report from GamesRadar, they emphasized that every visual aspect within the game was personally crafted by a human.

Kulyk said:

Everything you encounter or interact with within our game has been meticulously crafted by our skilled level designers, artists, and team members. You won’t find identical buildings or rooms with the same arrangement of props or meshes. Instead, each player experiencing Stalker 2 will have a unique story to tell.

As someone who has been following the gaming industry for quite some time now, I must admit that Stalker 2 has definitely piqued my interest among this year’s upcoming releases. Having had the opportunity to play a demo at Gamescom, I can say without hesitation that it is shaping up to be an exceptional game. The level of detail and immersion it offers is truly remarkable, making for a harrowing experience for those expecting an easy ride. The world-building in Stalker 2 is nothing short of breathtaking, leaving me in awe at the sheer creativity and dedication put into crafting this unique gaming universe. I eagerly await its release and can’t wait to dive deeper into the hauntingly beautiful world that Stalker 2 promises to deliver.
