As a LEGO and film fan, I was totally blown away by LEGO’s start to the year! They really surprised everyone with the Stranger Things Creel House set – I honestly didn’t see that coming. Because Netflix was being so secretive about Season 5, keeping the details of this LEGO set under wraps was crucial. But once the episodes began airing, hints started to leak, and thankfully it was released earlier this month!
LEGO has some amazing sets coming out in 2026, including a detailed Pokémon set with Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise, and a smaller Zelda display. However, the LEGO Creel House from Stranger Things has been particularly impressive and sets a high standard for the rest of the year’s releases. Even though I enjoy Stranger Things, this LEGO set is truly outstanding.
Okay, so when I first saw the LEGO Stranger Things Creel House, it didn’t look like much – just an old, rundown house, which is exactly what it’s supposed to be! But honestly, the details on the outside are amazing. The way they used LEGO pieces to make it look like it’s falling apart, with scaffolding and different levels, is really clever. I especially like how they used those solid brown pieces as wooden boards – it really adds to the spooky, haunted vibe. If you’re into haunted houses, this is a really cool one.
As a huge fan, one of the coolest things about the Creel House LEGO set is how much storytelling they packed into every room! Like, you turn it around and there’s Henry Creel’s hat actually on the bed – it’s details like that which are amazing. LEGO houses always have a lot going on inside, but the bigger the build, the more little surprises and unique pieces they can include, and this one is no exception!
As much as I love this Creel House LEGO set, I think the back side isn’t as strong as the front. While the front looks great, the back felt like a missed opportunity. I understand they wanted to stay true to the house’s design, but I was hoping for a few more nods to the wider Stranger Things universe back there – just a little something extra for fans like me!
I get why this LEGO set has some limitations – it’s not a typical LEGO house. If you’re familiar with the LEGO Stranger Things house, you’ll understand. This set has a fantastic feature: pulling on the sides (using the trees) causes it to fall apart in a really neat way, revealing a spooky interior. It’s a clever and impressive detail!
As I began building the LEGO Creel House, it quickly became clear how the different sections would separate and reconnect. But once I added the first moving part, I was hooked! The more of the house I assembled, the more I found myself taking it apart and rebuilding it, just for fun.
Even without the Stranger Things theme, this would have been a standout build – I absolutely love it! The way the house opens to reveal that famous clock is brilliant, and fans of the show will be thrilled. But honestly, it was that clever reveal that really made me love it.

Many detailed LEGO sets do a fantastic job of creating interesting interiors, but that detail often gets hidden once the outer shell is built. For example, the Avengers Tower has cool themed floors that you can only see if you partially disassemble it – and then you’re left with extra pieces! The LEGO Stranger Things Creel House is different; it’s designed to let you easily display the detailed interior that’s important to the show. It even adds a fun touch by changing details when you take it apart, like the wallpaper transforming to reveal the Upside Down.
I really love the LEGO Stranger Things Creel House, and a big part of that is how the building can be rearranged. But I also want to highlight that the set includes 13 amazing minifigures of all the characters we love. While Hopper and Joyce Byers aren’t included, all the kids and young adults are, and Steve even has his perfect hair! Plus, you get minifigs of both Vecna and Henry Creel.

The set also includes LEGO versions of Steve’s maroon BMW and the Squawk van. While these vehicles feel a bit separate from the main build, they could be fun to customize and use in your own LEGO creations.
The LEGO Stranger Things Creel House, with its 22 bags of pieces, was a really enjoyable build. It kept me excited to see what detail would be added next. While some of the early bags focused on the base, once I started assembling it and noticing the clever ‘cracks’ in the design, I was hooked! It’s quickly become one of my favorite LEGO sets, and it’s a must-have for Stranger Things fans. But even if you’re not familiar with the show, this set is still impressive and features some really cool building techniques.
