It’s Time Fans Meet The New Fastest Ninja Alive In Boruto After Minato

This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.

Over the years, the Boruto series has featured many strong characters. Boruto Uzumaki himself has been at the heart of the most compelling storylines, and as a result, he’s developed the most as a ninja.

Currently, Boruto Uzumaki is widely considered the most powerful ninja. However, the creators, Kishimoto and Ikemoto, have also focused on developing his other skills and characteristics. While Boruto’s strength is established, the story also highlights that he’s the fastest ninja and the successor to Minato Namikaze’s legacy.

As a huge fan, I always remember hearing about Minato – he was unbelievably fast, like the fastest ninja of his time! Everyone talked about his speed for years. But honestly, watching Boruto fight, it feels like we’re seeing a new legend emerge. He’s getting so incredibly fast, and I really think he’s on track to be remembered for his speed just like Minato was! It’s amazing to watch.

Minato Namikaze Was The Fastest Of His Era In Naruto

  • Took Tobirama’s Flying Thunder God Jutsu And Improved It
  • Became The Fastest Ninja Of His Era

Throughout the Naruto series, the creator, Kishimoto, established Minato as one of the most powerful and speedy ninjas of his generation. He mastered the Flying Thunder God technique, originally created by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, and improved upon it. This made Minato even faster than Tobirama. Even after his death, Minato was considered the fastest ninja ever, surpassing even Lightning A, who was later recognized as incredibly fast.

I’m certain of victory, particularly because I’m surrounded by people I love and who love me in return. — Minato Namikaze, Naruto

Minato was incredibly fast – only Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and those possessing the power of the Six Paths were quicker, with Madara possibly being another example. His speed remains noteworthy even in the Boruto series, with the author, Ikemoto, repeatedly emphasizing it. Boruto, despite his own considerable talent, openly acknowledged that he couldn’t compare to Minato’s speed or overall ability.

Boruto Uzumaki Is The New Fastest Ninja In The World

Minato’s impact is still felt throughout the Boruto series, even after his death. His famous Flying Thunder God technique lives on, and Boruto Uzumaki has even created his own version. While Boruto’s version isn’t as powerful as Minato’s, it still honors his father’s legacy.

This isn’t the story of a boy dreaming of becoming Hokage. That was my father’s journey. This is my own story—the story of Boruto Uzumaki.

This technique has also made Boruto incredibly fast, arguably the fastest ninja currently. Even before using this ability, Boruto was exceptionally quick, and awakening his Karma further enhances his natural speed and physical abilities. In short bursts, he can easily outpace anyone.

Minato wasn’t just incredibly fast over short distances; he could instantly teleport anywhere on Earth. This ability allowed him to control any battle, even when facing overwhelming odds like ten thousand opponents.

Boruto has developed a technique similar to the Flying Thunder God. He can teleport instantly to any location where he’s placed an object containing his chakra, and he does it very effectively. This ability has helped him escape danger several times during his battles with the Shinju, proving just how incredibly strong and fast he is.

Boruto Wields Minato’s Powerful Jutsu

Boruto using the Flying Raijin jutsu – a technique originally mastered by Minato Namikaze – demonstrates that Minato’s legacy lives on through others, even in the future. This also highlights how important Minato is to the Naruto story. Though he appeared briefly, Minato was a fan favorite, and it seems the creators, Kishimoto and Ikemoto, hold him in high regard, ensuring he receives the respect he deserves throughout the series.

Boruto Uzumaki is essentially the successor to Minato. While he doesn’t share Minato’s ambition to become Hokage, he possesses the same incredible speed and natural talent. Boruto’s mannerisms also remind people of Minato, and many fans believe he has the potential to become a ninja of equal skill.
