Jujutsu Kaisen is a hugely popular series created by Gege Akutami. It has quickly become one of the biggest action manga and anime series, even outselling giants like One Piece at certain points. The incredible buzz around the series was unmatched, and its ending was disappointing for many fans.

Good news for fans: Gege is back with a follow-up series called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. Even though it’s just started, it’s becoming clear that Modulo might actually be a better story than the original Jujutsu Kaisen manga in some ways. The new story and characters are incredibly engaging, and it’s achieving this without relying on familiar faces from the first series, which really shows how talented Gege Akutami is as a writer.
