It’s Time To Welcome The New God of Shinobi in Boruto

From the start of the Hidden Leaf and other ninja villages in the world of Naruto, many incredibly strong characters have appeared, but Hashirama Senju and Hiruzen Sarutobi stand out as particularly powerful. Hashirama was the very first Hokage and, alongside Madara Uchiha, founded the Hidden Leaf Village. Centuries later, Hiruzen Sarutobi became a legendary ninja, widely considered unmatched in his skill.

Similar to Hashirama, Naruto Uzumaki has become known as the God of Shinobi. The world of Boruto has changed significantly, with villages evolving over time. Therefore, it’s time to recognize a new God of Shinobi for this new era, and that is Naruto Uzumaki, even though he isn’t currently a major character in the series.

Hashirama and Hiruzen Sarutobi Were The Gods of Shinobi in Naruto

Being named the God of Shinobi is a rare and highly respected achievement, earned by only a few throughout history. Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage of Konoha, was the very first to attain this title, and he did so through incredible power. As the reincarnation of Asura Otsutsuki, Hashirama was naturally gifted with immense chakra and vitality. He also possessed the unique Wood Release ability, which further boosted his strength. Through years of intense battles, he became known as the strongest shinobi of his time, famously defeating Madara Uchiha.

I’ve learned that Madara Uchiha believed the key to controlling others lies in exploiting their inner darkness. He even went further, suggesting that if someone lacked that darkness, it could be manufactured. It’s a chilling idea, the notion that people can be manipulated by preying on, or even creating, negativity within them.

Hashirama was incredibly powerful – a legend even when the first ninja villages were created, earning him the title ‘God of Shinobi.’ His strength was so immense that, generations later during Naruto’s time, very few could match him.

Following Hashirama, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, is the only other ninja to be known as the God of Shinobi. Despite some criticism of his political decisions, Hiruzen’s incredible strength is undeniable. He possessed immense power and was a master of nearly every ninjutsu technique known in Konoha’s history, with the exception of those relying on Kekkei Genkai or Hiden abilities.

Hiruzen earned the nickname “The Professor” because of his incredible knowledge. Beyond that, fans recognized his immense physical strength and chakra levels were far above most others. Combined with the powerful Monkey King Enma as an ally, Hiruzen was nearly impossible to defeat in a fight.

Hiruzen was incredibly powerful. Even when he was old, weak, and nearing death, he easily defeated Orochimaru early in the series, despite not even being at his full strength. Many consider him the strongest of all the Kage who lived before Naruto, with some even ranking him above the First Hokage. For these reasons, Hiruzen truly deserves the title of God of Shinobi.

Naruto Uzumaki Is The New God Of Shinobi In the Boruto Era

  • Naruto Has Gained Immense Power By Adulthood

In the current era, Naruto Uzumaki truly deserves the title of shinobi god. His power far surpasses even the combined strength of legendary figures like Hiruzen and Hashirama, and he’s stronger than all the other Kage combined. Beyond his incredible strength, Naruto possesses vast knowledge and remains remarkably calm and compassionate, making him the greatest shinobi ever.

Naruto Went On to Surpass All Previous Kage

Naruto has undeniably earned the title of “god of shinobi.” He’s saved the world from incredibly powerful threats like Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsutsuki. Even in the Boruto series, he continues to fight and defeat major enemies, including Momoshiki and Isshiki Otsutsuki. His accomplishments far surpass those of any other Kage, solidifying his place as a legendary figure.

This power is incredible – it should be far stronger than anything he possesses. However, it comes with a serious cost: it shortens our lifespans. Because our chakra is linked, any power created by sacrificing our life force also takes years off of his life when we use it. By the time of the Boruto series, Naruto deserves to be universally celebrated as a hero – the shinobi who saved the world. He should be known for this achievement more than anything else. Many fans would love to see this, as they feel Naruto hasn’t received the recognition he deserves in recent storylines.

Sasuke Uchiha Is The Other God of Shinobi In Boruto

Alongside Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha is equally deserving of the title ‘God of Shinobi.’ The creator, Kishimoto, consistently developed both characters at a similar pace, suggesting Sasuke will likely earn the same recognition if Naruto does. Both ninjas constantly battle alongside each other, putting their lives on the line for their friends and their village. They’ve faced immense challenges and repeatedly made sacrifices for others throughout their journeys.

Sasuke, similar to Naruto, is incredibly powerful and willing to put himself at risk for others. Given everything he’s accomplished, he deserves to be recognized as a legendary shinobi – a ‘God of Shinobi’ – in the Boruto series, just like Naruto. Hopefully, the series will honor these characters and give them the recognition they’ve earned in the future.

Fans will have to be patient, as Naruto and Sasuke aren’t expected to return to the action anytime soon. It’s possible we’ll see them again in a few years, and they might even regain their abilities. By the end of the Boruto series, Naruto and Sasuke deserve to be remembered as legendary figures – they’ve certainly earned that status.
