It’s Time To Welcome The New Number 2 Of The Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece

This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.

The Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey D. Luffy, are destined to find the One Piece and make him the Pirate King. They started as a small crew of just four members in the East Blue Sea, the weakest part of the world. Now, as the story reaches its climax, Luffy commands a crew of nine. He’s always dreamed of having ten members, and recent events suggest that the final addition to his crew might be Loki, as hinted at by the author, Oda.

Loki, a remarkably powerful prince from Elbaf, has caught Luffy’s attention as the final member needed to complete his crew. Feeling unwelcome in Elbaf and with no other options, Loki is likely to join Luffy’s ship after the events on Elbaf conclude. Because of his incredible strength, he’s expected to become a fighter even stronger than Zoro and Sanji, positioning him as the second most powerful member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Loki Can Become The Second Strongest Straw Hat

  • Loki Could Join the Straw Hat Pirates Soon
  • A Character That Had To Be Defeated by Shanks

The Elbaf arc in One Piece has been highly anticipated since it began. It introduced fascinating new characters, like Loki, the Prince of Elbaf, and the island of Elbaf itself, setting the stage for the Straw Hat Pirates to become even more powerful. Despite Loki’s negative reputation among the people of Elbaf, he’s not actually a villain. Luffy clearly trusts him, and it’s been shown he didn’t kill Harald out of cruelty.

Loki is playing a key role in the events unfolding in Elbaf. Rejected by the islanders and with no other options, he might be the final member to join the Straw Hat Pirates, completing their crew.

I’ve been thinking about Loki, and honestly, he’d be a phenomenal addition to Luffy’s crew. The guy is incredibly powerful – he fought all of Elbaf’s best warriors and none of them could take him down, and he even defeated Harald, who was considered the strongest warrior in Elbaf’s history. The only one who’s ever beaten him is Shanks, which really speaks volumes about his strength. Plus, he has Ancient Giant lineage and might even have a legendary Devil Fruit. If he joins, I think he’d immediately become the second strongest member, surpassing Zoro and Sanji. That would shift things around, putting Zoro at number three and Sanji at number four. I genuinely believe there’s a strong possibility he’ll join Luffy, and if he does, he’d be Luffy’s most powerful subordinate, at least for the time being.

Will Zoro and Sanji Surpass Loki?

Zoro and Sanji Have To Rise as Luffy’s Wings

Many fans believe Loki could be a great addition to the Straw Hat Pirates, but there’s concern he’d upset the balance between Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy. It’s widely thought Loki would quickly become more prominent than Zoro and Sanji within the crew.

Right now, Loki seems more powerful than Zoro and Sanji, but that probably won’t stay true. Zoro and Sanji improve rapidly, getting much stronger with each new challenge. They’ll likely reclaim their positions as top fighters eventually, though it will take a while.

I truly believe Yamato and Mimoza are going to become powerhouses, potentially even exceeding Loki’s strength by the time Luffy finds all the Road Poneglyphs! They’re clearly being built up as ‘the Wings of the Pirate King,’ and it’s so cool how Oda-sensei is setting them up to be like Gaban and Rayleigh – two incredibly strong equals who fought alongside Roger. It really feels like that’s where their story is headed!
