Some of the most popular include Quiplash, in which players come up with funny responses to a variety of prompts, Fibbage, which involves answering questions by lying, and Trivia Murder Party, an ultra-spooky multiplayer trivia competition. The team revealed that it looked to two previous Party Pack games when making The Jackbox Survey Scramble.
The team explained that “Survey Scramble” has similarities with “The Poll Mine” from Party Pack 8, as both games focus on predicting how others might respond to prompts. In “The Poll Mine“, players are trapped in a magical mine and must choose doors representing poll answers based on popularity to progress. Conversely, “Survey Scramble” presents the questions and lets users provide their own answers. The unique aspect of “Poll Mine” is that players are given the answers to rank, whereas in “Survey Scramble“, the answers are supplied by others.
The game that served as inspiration for Survey Scramble is called Guesspionage, which was included in Jackbox Party Pack 3.
