The latest release of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on PS4 and PS5 brings back fond memories of my youth, and with it comes a brand-new trophy list to conquer.

A refreshed edition of the cherished classic Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is now playable on both PS4 and PS5 consoles, featuring a thrilling new trophy set to master. Known for its enduring popularity since its PlayStation 2 debut, this game continues to captivate fans even today. Originally released on the PS3 as part of an HD collection, it has since been ported to PS4 and now offers a fresh take on PS4 and PS5 platforms.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to announce that “Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy,” a gem from my childhood gaming years, has been added to the PS Plus Premium collection! Just like other classic PS2 games on the service, it now comes with a fresh set of trophies to conquer. With the HD remaster of “Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy” that graced both the PS3 and PS4, and the digital version available for the latter, there are now three Platinum trophies up for grabs – all for this iconic game!

In contrast to the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game which awarded separate Platinum trophies although they shared the same trophy list, this new edition of Jak and Daxter introduces a fresh set of challenges for players in the form of a revised trophy list. The primary objective of the trophy list is to encourage players to locate all the Power Cells scattered across different levels. However, there are additional intriguing new trophies that offer extra tasks for players to conquer as well.

Fans of the duo, Jak and Daxter, will observe new challenges in the game, requiring them to accomplish additional tasks such as scaling the Forbidden Temple without depleting Blue Eco, leaping to the Blue Eco platform within 12 jumps on Geyser Rock, or achieving a time of 40.00 seconds or faster on the gorge in Precursor Basin. The trophy list for the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game primarily focused on progressing the story, but players were also honored for collecting all Scout Flies, Power Cells, and Precursor Orbs.

If Jak 2 and Jak 3 become available through PS Plus Premium, it’s intriguing to consider whether they will each have their own distinct trophy collections.
