Every show or series has a central figure who defines it, and for Jujutsu Kaisen, that character is Gojo Satoru. He’s the teacher to the main characters and is responsible for training the newest generation of Jujutsu Sorcerers at the Tokyo branch.

I’m a huge fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, and it’s amazing to see how many incredibly powerful characters were taught by Gojo! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, so I decided to rank all of his current and former students, based on just how strong they become by the end of the series. Let’s dive in and see who tops the list!

Kirara Is A Very Basic Character With Few Feats

Cursed Technique: Love Rendezvous

  • A basic character with a supportive technique.

A key feature of Cursed Techniques in Jujutsu Kaisen is that they don’t all need to be overwhelmingly strong. Many techniques are more supportive in nature. For example, Kirara’s Love Rendezvous wasn’t about raw power, but it effectively confused Yuji during his search for Hakari. She also proved crucial in helping people during the battle against Sukuna.

Panda Is A Cursed Corpse With Considerable Strength

Cursed Technique: Unknown

  • The strongest Cursed Corpse.

Panda is a popular and powerful jujutsu sorcerer known for his fighting skills. He’s unique because he’s a Cursed Corpse with three cores, which give him access to different modes with varying abilities – Gorilla Mode was strong enough to help him win against Mechamaru. However, during the Culling Game, he lost two of those cores, significantly reducing his size and fighting strength.

Nobara’s Technique Can Directly Target The Soul

Cursed Technique: Straw Doll Technique

  • Not a very strong sorcerer though.

Nobara’s Cursed Technique, Straw Doll Technique, is unique because she can harm opponents using a straw doll as a medium. This proved effective against Mahito, as she could damage his soul from a distance, weakening him and creating an opening for Yuji. It also had some use in her final fight with Sukuna. However, the technique is limited and isn’t as reliable against more powerful enemies.

Innumaki Has An Incredibly Powerful And Iconic Cursed Technique

Cursed Technique: Cursed Speech

  • An incredibly useful technique.

Inumaki’s Cursed Speech is a signature ability in the series, and he’s a master of using it. He famously froze everyone during the Shibuya Incident, saving countless people, and has repeatedly protected his allies from strong enemies like Sukuna. However, because his overall cursed energy isn’t very high, opponents with greater energy reserves can overcome his technique, which puts a dangerous strain on his body and could even be fatal.

Megumi Could Have Become The Strongest Sorcerer Of Them All

Cursed Technique: Ten Shadows

  • A talented sorcerer with an incredible technique.

The Ten Shadows is arguably the second most potent Cursed Technique in Jujutsu Kaisen, surpassed only by Gojo’s Limitless. Megumi Fushiguro was an exceptionally gifted sorcerer, demonstrating remarkable skill by being the first of Gojo’s students to develop a Domain Expansion – even if it wasn’t fully complete. He successfully controlled most of the spirits associated with his technique, but he never managed to subdue Mahoraga, which contributed to his defeats in crucial battles.

Maki Fully Awakened Her Heavenly Restriction

Cursed Technique: None

  • An equal to Toji.

At the beginning of the story, Maki was the least powerful student at Tokyo Jujutsu High because of a rare condition she was born with. But after her twin sister, Mai, died and Maki unlocked her full potential during the Culling Game, she became incredibly strong – physically rivaling Toji, and essentially unbound by the usual limits of jujutsu.

Hakari’s Amazing Domain Makes Him An Untouchable Powerhouse

Cursed Technique: Private Pure Love Train

  • The restless gambler.

Hakari truly stood out during the Culling Game, which featured many incredibly powerful sorcerers. Gojo even predicted that Hakari would one day become stronger than himself, and considered him a vital asset to Jujutsu High. His fights against Kashimo and Uraume confirmed his status as one of the strongest characters, ranking just below Gojo and Sukuna.

Yuji Was The One Blessed By The Sparks Of Black

Cursed Technique: Multiple

  • The main character.

If we were talking about the current events in Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, it’s clear Yuji is the strongest, likely on par with Gojo and Sukuna. During the Shinjuku Showdown, he demonstrated mastery of advanced Jujutsu, multiple Cursed Techniques, and a complex Domain, solidifying his place as one of the series’ most powerful characters.

Yuta Had The Greatest Power Of All Of Gojo’s Students

Cursed Technique: Copy

  • The Cursed Child

The discussion about who was stronger during the Shinjuku Showdown – Yuta or Yuji – will likely continue, but Yuta clearly had more abilities at that moment. His Copy technique allowed him to use a vast number of cursed techniques, summon Rika, and he even had more cursed energy than Gojo. Ultimately, Yuta was undoubtedly the strongest student of Gojo’s by the end of Jujutsu Kaisen.
