Jujutsu Kaisen Explains How Gojo Satoru Was Finally Surpassed In Modulo

The Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo adaptation has done a fantastic job portraying the main characters. The author, Gege Akutami, has introduced a new generation of characters set 68 years after the original story, and the series continues to improve with each new chapter. Despite these additions, the essence of the original characters and storyline remains strong. Fans are especially captivated by the character of Gojo Satoru.

Gojo is the most recognizable character in the JJK series, and fans still talk about him constantly. Recent developments strongly suggest that Yuji Itadori, the series’ main character, has reached a similar level of power as Gojo. It was already known Yuji had the potential to become as strong as Sukuna, and now it’s been confirmed he’s achieved that potential. This essentially means that as an adult, Yuji Itadori has surpassed even Gojo Satoru in strength, a point the author, Gege, has already addressed.

Gojo Was Surpassed By The Next Strongest, Yuji Itadori

I witnessed a sorcerer named Gojo Satoru, who was truly exceptional – they said Japan hadn’t seen anyone like him in four centuries. He was considered the most powerful sorcerer of his time, able to go toe-to-toe with someone as formidable as Sukuna. He was unbelievably strong, but tragically, he died during the Shinjuku Showdown, fighting Sukuna even though he was already at a disadvantage.

The Japanese sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen are looking for Yuji Itadori, hoping to use him as a way to prevent attacks from the Simurians.

After Gojo’s death, many believed Japan would never again see a sorcerer of his caliber. But that wasn’t the case. Sixty-eight years later, Yuji Itadori has emerged as another incredibly powerful sorcerer.

Everyone knew Yuji had incredible power, but he actually lived up to that potential and became the strongest sorcerer in Japan. At the end of the Modulo arc, it was confirmed that Yuji was as powerful as Gojo, meaning he’d reached Special Grade. But even though they were equals, there was still room for Yuji to become even stronger.

Yuji Is A Threat That Can Deter Dabura

In JJK Modulo, the biggest danger seems to be Dabura. While the story focuses on humans and Simurians living together, a strong villain is necessary to create conflict, and that role is filled by Dabura. He’s rumored to be as powerful as Sukuna, and possibly even stronger, especially considering he commands an army of 50,000 Simurians.

Let’s try it one more time, Sukuna. Let’s start from scratch. — Yuji Itadori to Sukuna

Honestly, it’s mind-blowing to think that Japan actually sees Yuji Itadori as a threat – a deterrent, even! It really proves he’s leveled up and fully realized his potential. And the official confirmation that his power is on par with Sukuna? That’s insane! It basically means he’s stronger than Gojo, and could even surpass Sukuna himself. It’s a huge deal!

Yuji Fulfilled His Sukuna Level Potential

Yuji is a truly unique individual, and this uniqueness is what gives him an edge over even the incredibly powerful Gojo and Sukuna. He wasn’t born in a typical way – Kenjaku is actually his creator – and isn’t a normal human. While he’s already incredibly strong, his body also has the amazing ability to avoid aging. Unlike others who weaken over time, Yuji simply becomes more experienced and powerful.

Furthermore, he possesses not only the Shrine cursed technique, but also Blood Manipulation. It’s quite possible he now has two different domain expansions. Even with just the Shrine technique, his power was comparable to Sukuna’s, but given his unique body and the addition of another cursed technique, he may have already surpassed Sukuna and even exceeded Gojo’s abilities.

The sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is currently being published in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine.
