This article contains spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen and Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo.
Jujutsu Kaisen has quickly become one of the most popular action-packed Shonen series in recent years. The original manga was fantastic, and the final story arc – a thrilling raid against Sukuna led by Yuji Itadori – was particularly captivating.
The new series continues the thrilling storyline, with compelling characters like Dabura Karaba. Set 68 years in the future, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo introduces a new generation of powerful sorcerers. Fans are particularly focused on Yuji Itadori, especially since he appears to have stopped aging.
In the latest chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo manga, Yuji Itadori has demonstrated exciting new powers. He’s become significantly stronger, and his control over Blood Manipulation has improved dramatically.
Yuji has Grown Tremendously In The Jujutsu Kaisen Story

- Yuji tapped into the power of Blood Manipulation, Shrine, and Black Flashes
Yuji Itadori is the main character in Jujutsu Kaisen. Throughout the manga, he became significantly more powerful.
When Jujutsu Kaisen began, Yuji Itadori wasn’t particularly impressive, though he did possess notable physical strength. Compared to powerful sorcerers like Gojo Satoru, or even other students like Yuta Okkotsu, he didn’t stand out as exceptionally gifted.
I knew it! Though I didn’t say it, this was inevitable—Piercing Blood. —Yuji Itadori, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 19
Throughout Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori’s full power wasn’t realized until the very end. During his fight with Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, Yuji finally unlocked his true abilities. As Sukuna’s ideal vessel, Yuji gained access to powerful techniques, including Sukuna’s own cursed technique, Shrine. He mastered Dismantle and could even combine it with Black Flashes, and ultimately developed a powerful Domain Expansion that allowed him to defeat Sukuna, alongside his allies.
Yuji Itadori Gains His Biggest Power Up In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

- Yuji has evolved the usage of Blood Manipulation to rival Limitless and Ten Shadows
By the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen series, Yuji Itadori was already a remarkably powerful sorcerer. And he’s only gotten stronger since then. Unlike most sorcerers who reach their peak and then decline, Yuji appears to have become immortal, remaining at his strongest. This means that even 68 years later, he’s still operating at his full potential.
The recent Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo arc revealed a significant power boost for Yuji Itadori: an advanced form of Blood Manipulation. Yuji gained the ability to control blood after absorbing Death Paintings 4-9, but Modulo demonstrated that he’s now far more skilled with it than anyone before him.
Yuji’s return in chapter 19 of Modulo showcased a massive power-up: he used his Piercing Blood ability to destroy an entire building full of sorcerers and Simurians. This level of destruction is unprecedented for someone using Blood Manipulation. Previously, using Piercing Blood required a technique called Convergence, which Yuji couldn’t perform on his own. Choso had to create it for him, but now Yuji can use Convergence and Piercing Blood effortlessly.
Honestly, Yuji’s Blood Manipulation is insane! He’s not just making little droplets anymore – he can now form massive blood constructs and even control dozens of blood arrows without breaking a sweat. It’s crazy to think he single-handedly took down an entire building full of really powerful sorcerers, and he was holding back while doing it! It just shows how much stronger he’s become.
Yuji’s mastery of this Cursed Technique is incredibly impressive, putting him on a level comparable to powerhouses like Gojo and Sukuna.
This makes you question just how powerful Yuji’s Blood Manipulation really is. Considering his abilities, he should be able to combine it with his Cursed Technique and create a unique Domain Expansion. It’s important to remember that Blood Manipulation is a highly valued technique of the Kamo Clan, considered to be on par with techniques like Ten Shadows and Limitless. Now, Yuji will finally demonstrate its full potential to everyone.
Yuji Might Be The Strongest Sorcerer of All Time
- Yuji might have already surpassed Gojo and Sukuna
Right now, Yuji Itadori is widely considered the most powerful sorcerer protecting humanity. Before Yuji came back, people were counting on Yuka Okkotsu – the granddaughter of Yuta and Maki – as their best hope. She had inherited both the incredibly strong Ten Shadow technique and Yuta’s massive cursed energy.
Yuka was powerful, but her illness and inexperience left her at a significant disadvantage. Her best option in this fight was to use a Binding Vow and summon the incredibly powerful, but untamed, Divine General Mahoraga.
Yuji is currently at the peak of his abilities, boasting over fifty years of experience. Some believe he may have even become stronger than powerful figures like Gojo Satoru and Sukuna, thanks to his mastery of two cursed techniques and a body that doesn’t age.
Yuji’s Final Challenge In Jujutsu Kaisen Will Be Dabura
Image by Manga Plus - Dabura vs Yuji will be a battle on a scale of Gojo vs Sukuna
After gaining new strength during and following the battle with Sukuna, Yuji Itadori may have become stronger than both Gojo and Sukuna themselves. Now, he’s facing a new opponent who is predicted to be even more powerful: Dabura, the King of the Simurians. With abilities focused on light and overwhelming killing intent, Dabura is incredibly dangerous. As Mahoraga is likely to be defeated soon, someone needs to protect Yuka and all of Japan, and Yuji is the only one capable of doing so. The upcoming fight with Dabura will be a chance for Yuji to demonstrate how much he’s grown, allowing fans to see just how far he’s come in the last 68 years, particularly with his Blood Manipulation skills, which were surprisingly underused in the original story.
I was struck by Dabura’s words – a raw, desperate desire for growth. He didn’t just want to improve, he wanted a complete transformation, to become someone entirely new, even unrecognizable to his current self. It felt like he was craving a fundamental rebirth, a chance to redefine who he was through conflict.
The sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is currently being published in Weekly Shonen Jump. Set 68 years after the Shinjuku Showdown, the story follows Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta and Maki. Chapter 19 is scheduled to be released on January 25, 2026, at midnight in Japan (11:00 AM Eastern Time, 8:00 AM Pacific Time). Readers can access the chapter for free on Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump app.
