Okay, so chapter 2 of *JJK Modulo* finally revealed the big bad, and honestly, the author is *really* building this character up! The chapter made it super clear that the King of Simurians is an absolute powerhouse – we’re talking a threat on the same level as Ryomen Sukuna, which automatically puts him in the same league as Gojo! Jujutsu Kaisen just got another unbelievably strong player, and I, along with everyone else, am dying to see what he can *do*!

In the latest chapter of *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*, the Simurians and their advisor finally encountered the Japanese sorcerers, and the meeting was quite a shock. The Simurians immediately impressed everyone by speaking fluent Japanese, something the sorcerers hadn’t anticipated.

Japan was completely surprised, giving the Simurians a clear advantage. What really made a difference, though, was that they brought their King with them. His presence alone was powerful enough to paralyze even the most skilled sorcerers.
As fans know, Usami is an incredibly strong sorcerer. Some even believe he’s the most powerful Grade 1 sorcerer, putting him on par with characters like Nanami or Todo in *Jujutsu Kaisen*. It’s unclear if he’s grown stronger or weaker, but he’s undoubtedly very powerful. Importantly, Usami understands just how strong Gojo Satoru is. His reaction to the King of Simurians suggests that creature is exceptionally dangerous.

Is The King Of Simurians Stronger Than Sukuna?
They Should Be Close In Overall Power
While the full extent of the King of Simurians’ power remains unknown, it’s clear he’s at least as powerful as Sukuna. He’s been described as capable of instantly destroying everything, and his presence evokes a similar, overwhelming aura – powerful enough to paralyze sorcerers. The author, Gege, has directly stated that the Simurians pose a threat on the same level as Sukuna, meaning their strongest individual must be comparable in strength to make those statements believable.
Japan is simply reacting to the information it has. This new threat could potentially be even more powerful than Ryomen Sukuna, adding a thrilling element to JJK Modulo.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a hugely popular action series. Although the original manga finished in late 2024, you can still read it online for free on Manga Plus, where new chapters used to appear every week. A sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is now running in Weekly Shonen Jump.
