As a long-time fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I’ve watched Sukuna grow from a formidable enemy to a complex and intriguing character. Having witnessed his relentless battles against our beloved protagonist Gojo Satoru, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness as I read about his defeat at the hands of Maximum Output Jacob’s Ladder.

In the Shinjuku Showdown arc of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” Ryomen Sukuna serves as the main adversary. He has given an impressive display against the sorcerers but is noticeably weakening, suggesting that his time may be running out in this final battle.

As a gamer, I’ve witnessed firsthand how Sukuna’s latest clash against Yuta inside Gojo’s body has left him reeling. The strain is evident, and with Hana joining the fray, his end seems imminent. Yet, there’s an intriguing twist: Sukuna still holds some aces up his sleeve that fans didn’t anticipate. The narrative promises exciting developments as we move forward.

Sukuna Vs Yuta Okkotsu

Sukuna And Yuta Engaged In A Thrilling Domain Battle

In this encounter, Sukuna clashed with Yuta on numerous instances. However, their most noteworthy fight ensued when Yuta emerged bearing Gojo’s body. Initially, spectators believed that Gojo had miraculously resurrected, but eventually, it was unveiled that the person in question was none other than Yuta, who had manipulated Kenjaku’s cursed technique to seize control of Gojo’s body. The battle ignited with a domain clash from the outset, and both Yuta and Sukuna unleashed their domains. This time, they employed contrasting tactics. Yuta aimed to endure attacks from Malevolent Shrine from its exterior and thus reduced his domain significantly in size to strengthen its barrier. Simultaneously, Sukuna diminished the size of his domain to prepare for a full-frontal assault on Unlimited Void and everyone present on the battlefield. Yuta intended to inflict sufficient damage on Sukuna to cause Malevolent Shrine’s collapse from within. Conversely, Sukuna planned to annihilate Unlimited Void first before expanding his domain’s reach and obliterating every adversary.

In JJK chapter 263, Yuta’s strategy against Sukuna wasn’t completely successful. While he managed to use Hollow Purple to wound Sukuna, the power was weaker than Gojo’s and caused damage to Yuta’s own domain in the process. This effectively ended the domain clash between them. Initially, Yuta aimed to keep attacking Sukuna with more Purples, but after swapping places with Aoi Todo, he couldn’t continue with this plan.

Yuta’s Copy ability lasts only while Rika is completely present, which is limited to a span of five minutes. Beyond that point, things take a different course.

Yuta’s time with the Copy cursed technique had elapsed, causing Gojo’s body to crumble and leaving Yuta powerless. The confrontation between the sorcerers didn’t end there, though. Yuji and Todo stepped in to carry on the fight, using domain shards to swap positions freely. While they attempted various tactics against the King of Curses to rescue Megumi, it seemed none were effective. Eventually, they unveiled their ultimate move, which might have put an end to Sukuna’s reign once and for all.

Sukuna Hit By Maximum Output Jacob’s Ladder

Sukuna Was Showered In Light By Hana Kurusu

In the final moments of their clash with Sukuna, Todo employed a surprise tactic by bringing Hana into the fray instead of Yuji as anticipated. With Angel’s Maximum Output Jacob’s Ladder, they released a dazzling beam of light that enveloped Sukuna entirely. This attack left Sukuna defenseless against its mighty force, leaving fans in awe and doubtful of his ability to endure such power.

Fans understand that Sukuna can’t withstand this assault. Previously, he encountered Maximum Output Jacob’s Ladder from Hana, and back then, he was saved solely because she was deceived. If Hana had strengthened her attack at that time, Sukuna wouldn’t have made it. Now, though, Hana won’t be fooled again, and it’s probable that she has defeated the King of Curses in this encounter.

JJK has been on hiatus since using an incredible attack, and fans are left wondering what transpired. However, it’s not difficult to guess the outcome at this point. Sukuna lacks a response to this technique, making it highly probable that he has succumbed. In essence, Sukuna has lost this skirmish. Nevertheless, in the larger context, Sukuna isn’t entirely defeated yet since he still holds one more hidden ace untouched.

What Is Next For Sukuna?

Sukuna Will Trigger The Merger Soon In JJK

As a devoted fan of JJK, I’m thrilled at the prospect of Sukuna using his last trick to turn the tables against the sorcerers. Although he was outmatched this time around, he possesses an extraordinary power entrusted to him by Kenjaku – the key to the merger. With Megumi’s body vacated, Sukuna might take charge and lead this enigmatic entity. The upcoming chapters could unveil a phenomenon beyond our wildest imaginations. However, fans are left guessing what the merger may bring forth, hoping that Sukuna won’t transform into an even more terrifying being. On the brighter side, Megumi’s body might be freed, allowing him to rejoin the battle and add his unique abilities to the mix. The suspense is killing us!

Farewell, Gojo Satoru! I shall never forget you for as long as I live.

Despite this, it remains unclear to fans how the sorcerers will endure the merger and prevent Sukuna’s resurrection. At present, only Yuji, Todo, and possibly Yuta, if he can regain control over Gojo’s body, are still engaged in the struggle.

As a dedicated gamer following JJK, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment. The King of Curses, Sukuna, has left us with an emptiness that no other character seems capable of filling. Gojo, the only one powerful enough to stand against him, is now gone. Let’s hope the merging process won’t be too complex for our sorcerers, and we get a satisfying resolution for Sukuna. But remember, even in his current form, Sukuna has been defeated. Brace yourselves, fellow fans, as bigger challenges are on the horizon if the merger is indeed activated in future JJK chapters.
