Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Officially Reveals Adult Yuji Itadori’s Power In Modulo Sequel

The manga *Jujutsu Kaisen* is getting more and more captivating, particularly as the author, Gege Akutami, reveals details following the significant time jump in the story. As fans know, the series jumped forward 68 years after the Shinjuku Showdown, marking a new era. Characters like Yuji Itadori have aged, and a new generation, including Tsurugi and Yuka Okkotsu, is now taking center stage.

Fans are really excited to learn more about Yuji Itadori and what happened with previous characters, particularly after the time jump in the story. Luckily, Jujutsu Kaisen has now revealed an official look at Yuji as an adult, and given fans a taste of just how powerful he’s become. He’s grown into an incredibly strong sorcerer, reaching the level of a Special Grade, and seems to be on par with characters like Gojo and Sukuna, rather than Suguru.

Chapter 6 of *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo* included a brief appearance of Yuji Itadori, a popular character from the original series. Since the start of *Modulo*, fans have been hoping to see Yuji return, even if only as an older version of himself. This recent chapter delivered on that anticipation with a short flashback featuring Yuji.

This scene takes place sometime after the events of Jujutsu Kaisen. During his fight with Maru, Takeda was truly terrified, as Maru’s power was far beyond anything he’d faced before. Although Takeda was a skilled sorcerer – strong enough to defeat both Tsurugi and Yuka – Maru was simply too powerful. Initially, Tsurugi thought Takeda was a Grade 1 sorcerer, but it quickly became apparent that he was much more capable than that.

Maru easily won against his opponents in battle, and when fully powered up, he was as strong as a top-level Special Grade sorcerer. Takeda said he only felt that same level of fear and complete defeat when he fought Yuji Itadori. This suggests that Yuji, at his peak, was either as skilled as or even more powerful than Maru.

It’s no surprise that Yuji Itadori is reaching the level of the most powerful sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. His fight with Sukuna already demonstrated his incredible strength, and it was clear he still had a lot of room to grow afterward. Therefore, it’s natural that he’s becoming a Special Grade sorcerer. By the time he defeated Takeda, he had likely become exceptionally powerful, capable of defeating almost any opponent.

Now that the sequel, *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*, is out, it’s also available on Manga Plus with new chapters released weekly.
