I’m really looking forward to Chapter 3 of *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*! It’s set 68 years after the original *Jujutsu Kaisen* story, and I’m excited to see what Gege Akutami does with it. This time around, the story focuses on Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu – the grandchildren of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin. It seems like a new alien threat is emerging in Japan, and I can’t wait to see how these new characters deal with it.

The last chapter introduced readers to the Simurians and their King, but more importantly, showed Yuka and Tsurugi making progress and confirming the existence of an alien threat. With powerful figures like Yuta and Maki no longer present, it now falls to Yuka and Tsurugi to stop this threat, making Chapter 3 of *JJK Modulo* incredibly significant.

The last chapter of JJK Modulo left Tsurugi Okkotsu face-to-face with Cross, Maru’s older brother. Because they look so alike, Cross initially mistook Tsurugi for Maru, and this misunderstanding could lead to a fight. Cross’s abrasive behavior quickly angered Tsurugi, suggesting a brief battle will likely occur between them in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo chapter 3.

This won’t be a major battle, especially since Cross is working with humans right now. But a quick test of Tsurugi’s abilities would be great for the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. It would show fans just how powerful Tsurugi is at full strength, and give us a better understanding of what the Simurian aliens can do.

If chapter 3 of the *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo* manga really demonstrates how powerful Cross is, it will become obvious to readers in Japan that their current strategies won’t work against him, and they’ll need to find a way to overcome his immense power.

Yuka and Tsurugi both know aliens are real within the world of *JJK*. Because of this, they probably realize they need to become more powerful. They’ve already seen the Simurians are as dangerous as Ryomen Sukuna, even when the aliens aren’t using their full strength. This will likely drive Yuka and Tsurugi to significantly improve their abilities in *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 3*. Fans might see them begin training, or perhaps they’ll discover other methods to increase their power.

Currently, Usami seems to be relying on the fans of Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu – two incredibly strong and skilled sorcerers – to determine the world’s future.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a hugely popular action manga that recently finished its run in late 2024. You can still read the complete series online for free on Manga Plus, where new chapters used to be released every week. A sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is now being published in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The third chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo will be available on September 21, 2025, and, like the original series, it will be free to read on Manga Plus.
