Despite knowing it was futile, Jogo attacked Gojo, highlighting the immense power difference between them. Gojo’s incredible cursed technique made it clear that no matter how powerful Jogo became, he couldn’t harm the strongest sorcerer of the era. Even after suffering life-threatening stab wounds and being left to die, Gojo mastered a powerful healing technique, allowing him to fully recover. This led to a rematch with Toji, but this time the result was different. Gojo had reached a new level of power known as Awakening, making him the strongest sorcerer alive. He was then able to use Hollow Purple, a hidden ability within his Limitless technique, and effortlessly defeated Toji.

The Shibuya Incident is considered a highlight of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. It’s where Kenjaku’s long-planned and complex scheme finally unfolded, beginning with capturing Gojo and causing chaos throughout Tokyo. But even before being imprisoned, Gojo demonstrated one last amazing display of power.

The battle began with Gojo immediately facing an onslaught from three incredibly powerful Disaster Curses and Choso. These Cursed Spirits were each strong enough to defeat most other characters, but Gojo, with his Limitless technique, was still dominant against all of them simultaneously. This led to Hanami’s defeat, and Gojo briefly activated his Domain Expansion – for just 0.2 seconds – to eliminate all threats from the train station.

From the very beginning of the series, fans anticipated an epic showdown between the most powerful sorcerer of our time and the greatest sorcerer of all time. That clash finally happened at the end of the Culling Game, when Gojo escaped from the Prison Realm and immediately challenged Sukuna, setting the stage for their long-awaited battle.

The clash between the two most powerful sorcerers in history proved why the title of ‘strongest’ even existed – they were simply on a different level than anyone else. Gojo fought brilliantly, pushing his Limitless technique to its full potential and simultaneously holding off Sukuna, Mahoraga, and Agito. Despite ultimately losing, the battle cemented Gojo’s reputation as the greatest sorcerer in a millennium and Sukuna’s only real match.
