Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 8 Release Date

This post contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen.

Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen is heading into a critical arc, fully focusing on the long-awaited Culling Game. After numerous references throughout the series, the studio MAPPA now has the chance to deliver on all the excitement and show viewers why it’s been so anticipated.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Episode 7, Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro officially entered Tokyo Colony 1 to compete in the Culling Game. They intended to work together to handle any challenges, but were immediately separated by a barrier as soon as they entered. This separation was likely orchestrated by Kenjaku, who wants to prevent strong teams from forming and make the game more chaotic and unpredictable – he prefers a more intense and evenly matched competition.

Kenjaku May Have Somewhat Parental Instincts

Kenjaku Thanked Sasaki In The Latest Episode

Let’s talk about a strange moment before we get to the fights in episode seven: Kenjaku’s conversation with Sasaki. While leading her away from the barrier, Kenjaku thanked her for being a friend to his son, which confused Sasaki at the time. Later, after waking up and talking with the others, she figured out Kenjaku was actually referring to Itadori Yuji.

It’s strange that Kenjaku said that, considering how cold and calculating he is. He easily could have just gotten Sasaki out of the way and moved on with his plans. The anime probably won’t explain this moment right away, so we’ll likely have to wait to understand why he thanked her and what he was really thinking.

  • JJK Season 3 Episode 8 will premiere on February 26
  • The episode is being called the best of season 3

The next episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, titled “Tokyo No. 1 Colony, Part 2,” will be available on February 26, 2026. The episode will continue following Itadori and Megumi as they navigate the Tokyo Colony 1 barrier. So far, their experiences inside have been very different. Megumi encountered and quickly defeated a woman, then asked her to lead him to Higuruma.

Meanwhile, Yuji Itadori faced two newly awakened sorcerers in battle. Like many others, these sorcerers aimed to gain points by defeating opponents and then create a rule that would favor them. However, they misjudged Itadori’s strength and were easily defeated. After that, Itadori encountered a man named Amai, who claimed to be friendly. Amai recognized Itadori as being from the same hometown. When Itadori inquired about Higuruma’s location, Amai simply replied, “Ikebukuro.” This contrasted with the information Megumi received from Remi, who said Higuruma was in Shinjuku.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 8: What To Expect

It looks like Itadori and Megumi are headed in opposite directions and won’t be teaming up again soon – Itadori is going to Ikebukuro, and Megumi to Shinjuku. The next episode of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Episode 8, will heavily feature Higuruma. We already know he’s one of the most powerful players in the Culling Game, having earned 100 points, but we haven’t seen his abilities yet – that’s all about to change.

  • Because Higuruma is located in the same area as Itadori and Megumi, it’s likely he’ll encounter them before they can reach him.

I’m so hyped for the next episode! It looks like Higuruma is going to have a real edge – if he can get to Megumi and Itadori first, he can totally catch them off guard. Plus, the fact that they’re separated gives him a huge advantage, he won’t be swarmed. Seriously, everything suggests we’re finally going to see Higuruma really flex his abilities, so we just need to hang tight and it’ll be revealed soon!
