It’s no wonder that “Jujutsu Kaisen” remains number one, even though it concluded the previous year. The final manga volume was released around Christmas in 2024, and since then, its sales have been extraordinary, showing just how much of a hit this series has been.
With an astounding 969,151 units sold, this figure is nothing short of remarkable, and it seems the momentum may continue unabated. This surge in sales could persist, given that a movie adaptation and a fresh anime season are on the horizon – events certain to reignite interest in the series.
The Second Best Selling Series – Dandadan
Total Number of Sales: 838,678
I’ve noticed that the captivating anime adaption of “Dandadan” has certainly garnered a significant following, placing it quite close to the popularity of “Jujutsu Kaisen.” In fact, an impressive total of 838,678 copies have been sold so far.
The series is set to carry on successfully, experiencing a surge in sales once the second half of the first season is released, returning to its previous peak of popularity.
The Third Best Selling Series – Sakamoto Days

The anime adaptation of Sakamoto Days is currently in its first season. Before this, the manga was already well-received by many readers. Despite not reaching the sales figures of series like Jujutsu Kaisen or Dandadan, it’s important to note that Sakamoto Days has sold 438,163 copies, which is a significant achievement.
The Rest of the Top 10
Blue Lock, My Hero Academia, The Apothecary Diaries, Among Others
In January, Blue Lock has been the fourth top-selling series, with Sakamoto Days only slightly outpacing it in sales.
Among the top-selling manga series, I’m thrilled to be a fan of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, which ranks fifth! Not far behind are Blue Box, Medalist, and The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, holding down the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots respectively. It’s fascinating to see such captivating stories making their mark in the world of manga!
In contrast to Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia ranked ninth, indicating that it performed less well, despite both shows wrapping up their seasons approximately at the same time.
Lastly, finding itself at the tenth spot is The Apothecary Diaries. Notably, several other highly-acclaimed series failed to secure a place within the top 10, but instead managed to claim spots in the top 20, such as Solo Leveling and Oshi No Ko.
