As a dedicated gamer with countless hours clocked into PUBG: Battlegrounds, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on the latest updates and the return of the Fantasy Battle Royale mode.

For PUBG: Battlegrounds enthusiasts, July 24 holds special significance as the Fantasy Battle Royale mode makes its comeback. Introduced in 2020, this captivating mode will be accessible on PC from July 24 to August 7 and on consoles from July 31 to August 14. In Fantasy Battle Royale, players can enjoy a fresh take on the classic PUBG experience, as they engage in thrilling battles for dominance within an enchanting universe.

PUBG’s free version now has update 30.2, which includes several game modifications. Notable strategic items such as the Tactical Pack, EMT Gear, and All-In-One Repair Kit have returned with adjustments. The Tactical Pack now has more attachment slots, while EMT Gear offers shorter healing and revival times, and the All-In-One Repair Kit is limited to three uses. A partnership with Automobili Lamborghini introduced unique in-game boxes and car skins. Additionally, creating a clan became less expensive at 4,500 BP with the new Clan System. The update brought 2D Replay for thorough match analysis, and numerous bug fixes and other improvements were included to boost gameplay experience.

PUBG has brought back its beloved Fantasy Battle Royale mode, where players can enjoy a distinctive battle royale adventure. Four distinct classes are available: Barbarian, Ranger, Wizard, and Paladin. For newcomers, the Barbarian excels in close-quarter fights armed with a longsword, the Ranger specializes in accurate shots from afar with the Dragonslayer crossbow, the Wizard inflicts heavy damage on enemies through fire spells, and the Paladin offers assistance by healing and supporting teammates. In this mode, teams of four clash on Dragon’s Isle (Erangel), allowing for battles amongst up to 80 competitors.

How Long Will the Fantasy Battle Royale Mode Be Available?

  • The Fantasy Battle Royale mode will last for two weeks on PC, from July 24 to August 7, and on consoles from July 31 to August 14.

Fans of the Fantasy Battle Royale mode, who savored it during its earlier phase and have eagerly waited for its return, are sure to be thrilled by this announcement. It’s noteworthy that this comeback occurs after the restoration of the original Erangel map in May, which brought back cherished in-game features.

As someone who’s been following PUBG closely for years now, I’m truly impressed with their unwavering dedication to improving the game experience for their players. The consistent updates every two months are a testament to this commitment, and they’re not just empty promises – they deliver on their promises of combat enhancements.
