Keywords Studios Acquires Developer Wushu Studios

As a seasoned gamer with years of gaming under my belt and countless hours spent mastering various titles, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement about the recent news of Wushu Studios joining Keywords Studios. With their impressive portfolio, which includes Fall Guys, State of Decay 2, The Ascent, Forza Horizon 5, and even Baldur’s Gate 3, this Liverpool-based developer has consistently delivered quality gaming experiences that have kept me hooked for hours on end.

In their latest announcement, Keywords Studios disclosed the purchase of Wushu Studios, a renowned video game development company based in Liverpool.

According to Keywords Studios CEO Bertrand Bodson, this acquisition aims to expand our game development capabilities on a global scale.

Bodson highlights two key strengths of Wushu: their “talented workforce” and “solid network of connections.” They anticipate that acquiring Wushu Studios will serve to “enhance our current Create Studios.”

According to Alan McDermott, founder of Wushu Studios, the team intends to preserve their creative autonomy as they broaden their resources. They aim to embark on increasingly challenging projects in the future. Additionally, they are committed to upholding their people-centric approach during development.

On X’s post, Wushu Studios’ developer expressed appreciation for the common ideals and fervor towards creation that they share with Keywords Studios.
