663 Games unveiled that a fresh demo for the mystery-filled game “Kill the Shadow” will be available on Steam’s Next Fest event, which begins today.
The Steam Next Fest is an event where you can check out numerous new games using demos, and it begins today (in UK time) and continues until October 21st. According to 663 Games, their game is “a gripping detective role-playing game with a dark narrative, in which players decide their approach during the investigation as they delve into solving the mystery.” The studio has teamed up with a well-known American author to revamp the English script for Kill the Shadow. They’ve made sure that while staying faithful to the original story, the English version provides a richer experience by immersing players in both the language and culture.

The fresh demonstration presents a novel backdrop and narrative within Zhulong Walled City, offering approximately 30 minutes of captivating gameplay. It also introduces an engaging flashback sequence from ten years ago as an immersive opening scene. Furthermore, this demo features two new scenes, a factory setting that’s been optimized for improved performance, and enhanced music quality along with more nuanced dialogue, offering a richer understanding of the characters and their world.
