Joining forces with up to five other players, you’ll need to blast your way through endless waves of foes, employing various abilities, weapons, and devices to give yourself an edge and tilt the battlefield in your favor. Since it’s been nearly nine years since the last game in the series was launched, many enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the Killing Floor 3 release date, so they can dive headfirst into the fray as soon as the servers become operational.
What Time Does Killing Floor 3 Release?
The Same Across All Platforms
On July 24, Killing Floor 3 will simultaneously launch worldwide at 6 AM Pacific Time (PT), 9 AM Eastern Time (ET), and 2 PM British Summer Time (BST). This means that instead of the game being available to play at midnight in each region, it will be live at the same moment globally. This is common for multiplayer games as their servers are synchronized to start hosting matches together at the same time. It’s important to mention that you won’t find an early access phase for Killing Floor 3, no matter which version of the game you choose. The Digital Deluxe and Elite Digital Editions exclusively provide extra in-game items and skins, but they don’t offer any additional gameplay features.
On July 22, between 12 PM Eastern Time and 10 PM Eastern Time, we’ll conduct a stress test. This is to ensure that our servers can handle the expected load on launch day. We’ve also performed similar stress tests earlier this year.
When Can You Preload Killing Floor 3?

Tripwire Interactive has announced that the pre-loading process for Killing Floor 3 will commence at 6 AM PT/ 9 AM ET/ 2 PM BST on July 22, which is two days prior to its official launch on July 24. This allows players ample time to download the game before its release date. The Steam Store page for Killing Floor 3 indicates that the game requires a maximum of 20 GB for installation, so the download should not take an excessive amount of time, even for those with slower internet connections.
Remember to buy Killing Floor 3 ahead of time from either the PlayStation Store, Steam, or the Xbox Store so you can preload the game before its release.
Ensure there’s ample room on your storage device prior to logging off your system, so the game can start preloading automatically; otherwise, you might discover upon the release date that the download process hasn’t begun yet.
