In the upcoming game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there’s a well-known love triangle tale named “All’s Fair.” Here, you aid a smitten laborer called Pavel in stealing goods and falsely accusing his rival to win over a woman named Ursula.

In this mission, you’ll need to emphasize stealth and burglary skills, as it involves slipping unnoticed through the streets of Wysoka village.

Completing All’s Fair successfully may grant you Vitality points, a new mission, or valuable treasures – as long as you make the right moves.

This tutorial will take you through each stage of the mission, providing tips on how to get the most benefits without being noticed.

This mission is largely dependent on using stealth techniques such as lock-picking, moving silently, and pocket-lifting. Keep in mind that if you’re discovered during the mission, it could lead to failure, so make sure you have a good grasp of stealth skills prior to taking it on.

How To Start All’s Fair Quest

To embark on the “All’s Fair” mission, make your way to the town called Wysoka. It’s situated in the southwestern part of the Kuttenberg region.

Try seeking out a transient laborer known as Pavel in the village, and engage him in conversation to initiate the quest. He’ll confess his affection for Ursula, but lament that she is betrothed to someone named Pivetz.

To gain her affection, Pavel devises a scheme to implicate Pivetz by secretly taking prized possessions from various locations in town. He intends to glean information from their conversations to determine the right time and place for his actions.

You can talk to Ursula and exhaust her dialogue for bonus dialogue with Pavel.

The Older Vejmola’s Lost Medal

This item is particularly easy to take, but interestingly enough, it’s no longer ours – the medal has been missing for quite some time now and was discovered by a local magpie. The bird constructed its home, or nest, in close proximity to Bohuska’s residence.

1. Make your way to Bohuska’s garden and locate the tree in the eastern part of it.

2. Once there, use a suitable object such as a stick, stone, or small tool to gently dismantle the nest located nearby.

3. Inside the nest, you will discover Older Vejmola’s Medal.

Bohuska’s Ring

It turns out that Bohuska’s residence is incredibly handy for you, and another objective of yours involves acquiring her ring. Therefore, she becomes your next destination.

It’s advantageous to infiltrate her residence during the night when she’s fast asleep because she might slip into sleep-speak, revealing clues about the ring’s hiding spot. However, unbeknownst to you, she had accidentally baked the ring into a poppy seed kolach during her baking session.

Located near the door is a table with her delicious pastries. Feel free to sample some, and as you do, the Silver Cake Ring will magically appear in your possession.

A less harmful approach is to temporarily incapacitate sleeping individuals so they remain unconscious while you search through their possessions, preventing them from waking up.

Vejmola the Cobbler’s Shoes

Your upcoming objective is Vejmola the Shoemaker, and fortunately, this task should be relatively straightforward because Pavel has provided you with a key to their residence.

Slip in under cover of darkness, proceed to the room via the right-hand door, and there you’ll find the Cobbler’s Boots resting on the floor near the chest, to your left as you enter the bedroom.

Opt for dark attire, carry Quickfinger Elixirs, have lockpicking tools handy, and utilize Saviour Schnapps to enhance your stealth skills.

Ursula’s Mother’s Rosary

In the center of town Wysoka resides Ursula’s mother. Hidden within a securely locked box lies the prized Gemstone Rosary, and there are actually two paths to acquire it.

If you’re proficient with picking locks, you might be able to open a few simple ones as warm-up exercises before attempting the extremely challenging one on the chest.

Instead, I could sneakily retrieve Usula’s mother’s chest key from her pocket (it’s best to do so when she’s asleep at night) without causing any disturbance. This key allows me to bypass the tougher lock and safely store the rosary afterwards.

Father Anthony’s Book

Your final target is Father Anthony, who lives near the chapel in the northern part of Wysoka.

In this case, you’ll easily locate the Wysoka Priest’s Alchemy Book as it’s placed on a table near one of the corners in his residence.

Wrapping Things Up

Pavel, whom you initially encountered with a lack of confidence, now appears much more assured. However, it’s surprising to see that while he initially showed reservations about dealing with stolen items, he now seems intent on implicating Pivetz by planting the goods on him!

If you manage to deliver an challenging monologue (or run out of things to say with Ursula), Pavel will reveal his true intention.

Instead of chasing after Ursula’s affection, his real aim was to offload the stolen items and utilize the earnings for an apprenticeship as a journeyman in Kuttenberg. The path you choose will decide the final result of this quest.

Give Pavel the goods

If you choose to return the stolen goods to Pavel, he’ll give you some Vitality points in return. However, it’s likely that word will spread about this incident in Wysoka, and Pavel may end up being known as a thief from now on.

Making this decision will subsequently open up another mission titled “Seeking Justice“, and you can activate it by dropping by Captain Frenzl in Suchdol a few days down the line.

Pay for Pavel’s Apprenticeship

Instead, you could help fund Pavel’s apprenticeship by providing him with 1000 groschen, enabling him to chase his dreams without compromising his good name.

Taking the nobler path ensures that Henry continues to accumulate Vitality points, yet since Pavel’s reputation stays untarnished, Captain Frenzl won’t feel compelled to scrutinize him in future instances.

Henry has the option to either hold onto the stolen goods (valued at more than 670 groschen) or give them back to their rightful owners. Acting kindly in this situation will boost Henry’s local reputation and win him some sweet buns from Bohuska, but there are no other material benefits associated with it.

Before giving back Father Anthony’s book, taking the time to read it first will provide you an opportunity to enhance your knowledge in alchemy.

Deny Pavel

If Pavel’s deception rubs you the wrong way, you also have the option to deny him altogether.

If Pavel doesn’t give back the stolen items, he stands to lose both the girl and the job opportunity. Instead, he might attempt to call the guards on you, accusing you of theft. However, it would be better if you could hand over all the items to Father Anthony before anyone catches you, thus improving your standing in the community.

Perhaps it’s not such a big deal if Pavel doesn’t care for you, considering he was intending to manipulate you. After all, wouldn’t you rather be free from someone who uses you in such a way?

In the end, All’s Fair comes to a close following your choice. Regardless if you side with Pavel, strive for justice, or keep the stolen goods, Henry is free to embark on more escapades…
