Hey there fellow gamer! I’ve got some exciting news for you if you’re playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD 2). The game’s creator, Trosky Chamberlain, claims that one of the castles has a demon infestation problem. Now, let me tell you how to help him get rid of these pesky demons in the Demons of Trosky mission.

I won’t sugarcoat it; this quest can be quite challenging at times, but don’t worry! I’ve got your back with this helpful guide. Let’s dive right in and conquer that demon infestation together!

How To Complete the Demons of Trosky Mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To initiate the “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Demons of Trosky” quest, locate Chamberlain Ulrich and inquire if he requires your assistance. Upon accepting his task, Ulrich will provide you with a choice between Holy Water or Magic Water; either option works equally well for completing the mission.

Chamberlain is going to introduce you to three individuals who can help with the demon problem at hand. First, you should approach Manyeta, the cook, as she’s nearest to your current position. You’ll find her in the kitchen, which is located in the eastern part of the castle. Manyeta will task you with pouring water into five separate fireplaces scattered throughout Trosky Castle, specifically on the crone’s side.

No need to fret! After chatting with her, she’ll put marks on your map indicating where the fireplaces are. Then, it’s just a matter of locating them.

Manyeta’s Tasks

The initial fireplace isn’t a typical one, so the mission becomes somewhat challenging. To accomplish the first goal, head for the staircase next to the bathhouse, ascend to the kitchen, and pour water onto the stove. Once you’ve achieved that, climb the stairs in the kitchen and enter the room on your left. The second fireplace will be easily spotted on the left side of this room.

Or simply:

The first fireplace is unique and makes the task a bit tougher. Take the right staircase from the bathhouse, head to the kitchen, pour water on the stove, then go up another set of stairs and enter the room to your left for the second fireplace.

To locate the Scribe’s room, you should retrace your steps to the door you originally entered, then ascend three sets of stairs. Upon entering the room, the third fireplace will be immediately visible, making it hard to miss. Proceed down two flights of stairs and take the left door, followed by another set of stairs, where you’ll find a dining room with the fourth fireplace. Lastly, climb yet another set of stairs and enter the bedroom that houses the final fireplace.

Speak to Bertha

You need to make your way to a kitchen located in the southwest corner of the castle right now for a chat with a cook named Bertha. She’ll assign you a task similar to what you have now, but this time it will be on the side of the castle where the Maiden resides. Leave the kitchen, walk down the stairs, and proceed in the opposite direction until you reach another kitchen. Your first objective is completed by pouring water onto the stove there.

To reach another set of stairs, head upstairs from the kitchen, turn left at the top, then climb those stairs again. Enter the first room you come across and you’ll find a second fireplace. The room to your left of that fireplace houses the third fireplace. Go back, ascend the stairs once more, enter the door with the guard nearby, and there you’ll discover the fourth fireplace. Lastly, go through the door next to the fourth fireplace to enter the room with the last fireplace.

Talk to the Blacksmith Osina

Ultimately, locate the smithy within the castle premises and speak with the blacksmith named Osina. She’ll mention knowing where the demons are originating. To fulfill her goals, Henry needs to inspect three distinct areas. The initial destination will be the basement of the guardhouse; make sure to examine the restrooms to finish the first assignment. Now return to Osina and inform her that an unpleasant odor is emanating from the restroom, but there’s nothing further to report.

Afterward, Osina will hint for you to check the tower that stands on the Maiden’s part of the castle. Unsurprisingly, it turns out to be a bathroom. Return to him and share your discovery. Next, he’ll direct you to examine the tower on the Crone’s section of the castle. Predictably, it’s another restroom with no hints of any supernatural entities. Inform Osina again about finding nothing, and he’ll confess it was all a jest. You have the option to challenge him, but we advise letting it pass.

Go Back and Talk to the Chamberlin

Once all tasks are completed, return to the chamberlain for a debriefing on the recent happenings. He’ll compensate you with some Groschen, and your Scholarship, Vitality, and Survival skills will receive a boost as well. This marks the conclusion of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Demons of Trosky quest.
