Three months after Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s release in February, the sequel of the medieval RPG has surpassed 3 million players, marking a significant milestone.
In a recent online discussion, developer Warhorse Studios publicly acknowledged a significant achievement and expressed gratitude to players for the dedication they’ve shown to the game since its launch by investing their time in it.
Approximately 3 million unique Henrys have embarked on their journeys, making indelible impressions across the land of Bohemia. We thank you all for each quest conquered, each conflict engaged, and every tale penned. Following suit with Larian Studios’ reveal for Baldur’s Gate 3, here are some engaging facts:
1. Over 20 million battles have been fought across the realm.
2. Players have chosen to side with over 45 million different companions.
3. A whopping 87 million potions were consumed during these adventures!
4. The average player has traversed an impressive 9,126 square miles of Bohemia.
5. Over 10,000 unique character builds have been crafted by our intrepid adventurers.
Initially, let’s talk about the staggering number of human lives lost at the hands of players. To be precise, it amounts to a mind-blowing 489,136,125 deaths recorded till now. Warhorse Studios, in their words, portray Henry as even deadlier than the Black Plague in terms of killing humans. Furthermore, they provide insights into weapon preference among players, with long swords leading the pack, responsible for approximately 207 million kills, followed by normal swords claiming 102 million lives, and daggers trailing behind with a mere 40 million kills.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players haven’t shied away from using ranged weapons. In fact, over the past three months, a staggering 55,088,512 enemies have been taken down at a distance by players, with an impressive one out of every seven kills being a well-aimed headshot. Interestingly, the crossbow has emerged as the favorite ranged weapon, accounting for approximately 29.1 million of these distant deaths. Following closely is the bow with 19.8 million kills, and lastly, the pistole with 6.2 million.
In addition to their usual activities, it appears players have been quite busy with some questionable actions. An astonishing 38.51 billion items have been stolen, totaling an incredible 2.43 trillion Groschen. Fans haven’t held back either, picking the pockets of over 132.31 million unsuspecting individuals, pocketing a total of 107.94 billion Groschen. It seems like a world of thieves and drinkers in the Kingdom of Bohemia!
According to Warhorse, a staggering total of 387 million hours has been dedicated to making Henry inebriated. This suggests a significant amount of alcohol consumption, yet fans seem to have their favorites. A majority of 31.2 million prefer wine when intoxicating Henry, while beer takes the preference of 24.6 million others.
Even under the influence, individuals don’t stop their killing sprees, as a staggering number of around 4 million opponents have met their end in this state. However, it should be noted that alcohol might impair their ability to play dice games like Farkle, with only about 67% of all such matches being won while under the influence.
