I’ve practically mastered Kingdom Hearts 1, and it ranks as one of my top favorite games. I’m intrigued by the sequels, but whenever I reminisce about KH1, a sense of nostalgic affection fills me up. The latest Kingdom Hearts installments are jam-packed with interconnected storylines that can be confusing at times, but there’s no denying the brilliance of this franchise.
As a passionate fan, I can’t help but feel excited about Director Nomura Tetsuya’s recent announcement that Kingdom Hearts 4 is on its way, hinting at the potential conclusion of this beloved series. However, like many other players, I find myself eager to understand more about what Kingdom Hearts 4 has in store for us before we embark on this final chapter together.
No News on Kingdom Hearts 4 Release Date
On April 10, 2022, the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Celebration showcased previews of upcoming KH games. The grand finale unveiled Kingdom Hearts 4, highlighting an epic battle scene between Sora and a towering Heartless adversary.
The final scene features Donald and Goofy in a humorous appearance. This was our last glimpse for three years. In 2024, we broke news about a leaker revealing a 2025 release date for Kingdom Hearts 4. We’re now a third of the way into 2025, and there hasn’t been any update yet – making this information seem less substantial as each day passes.
Recently, Square Enix has only mentioned that Kingdom Hearts is making its way onto Steam. This news reminded me that I had almost forgotten about KH4, which was initially announced three years ago in the swiftly advancing and dynamic gaming world.
