It’s been announced by Reburn that the game titled The Chimera will debut on April 25th. Alongside a fresh gameplay trailer and some hitherto undisclosed details about The Chimera, they also unveiled its surprisingly affordable price point.
La Quimera is the newest creation from video game developer Reburn, previously known as 4A Games Ukraine. This project was initially unveiled towards the end of February, but without any hint about its launch date or even an estimated launch period.
After making the initial move, it’s been announced that Reburn has set a concrete release date for La Quimera: April 25th. Moreover, they’ve disclosed that the game will be available for purchase at $29.99 or €29.99. This price point might seem unexpected, considering that what we’ve seen of the sci-fi shooter thus far appears to be on par with a big-budget AAA production. It’s speculated that this lower cost may suggest a shorter narrative in the first-person shooter, although Reburn has yet to explicitly confirm this assumption.
La Quimera Shares New Gameplay Trailer
The upcoming game titled “La Quimera” has revealed its release date, coinciding with the second trailer release that exclusively focuses on gameplay. This video gives a glimpse into various traditional weapon types such as assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, and submachine guns, hinting at an environment where players must always be battle-prepared. Additionally, the trailer provides a sneak peek into the exosuit capabilities, allowing players to perform extraordinary feats, similar to the game “Crysis“, particularly with its lush jungle backdrop.
La Quimera Beta Starting Soon, Signups Now Available
Prior to the launch of the game, Reburn is organizing a closed beta test that starts this coming Saturday, April 12, at 7am Pacific Time / 10am Eastern Time / 4pm Central European Time. The testing will last for an entire day, and you can now sign up for the opportunity on La Quimera‘s Steam page where the game is currently wishlistable. Reburn has mentioned that spaces for this closed beta will be limited, although they have not provided specific details about this restriction.
